Located on the shores of Lake Erie, 1,831-acre East Harbor State Park has unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation. Boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking and camping are popular while nature enthusiasts will enjoy the abundance of waterfowl, shorebirds and other species of wildlife found in the park's scenic wetlands.

The best trail of several located in East Harbor State Park. Trail is surfaced with grass, rocks, and in some areas just dirt. Minimal overhead canopy but at certain times of the day could offer some shade. Wildlife included deer, raccoons, canadian geese, a variety of ducks and birds along with plenty of butterflies. The way back was muddy, so it offered a bit more of an adventure as hundreds of frogs were crossing our path. Good view of the lake and marsh lands. Perfect for a leisure stroll in nature.

Trail is located in East Harbor State Park and is similar to the other trails close by. Surface is both grassy and dirt but well maintained. Not a lot of canopy, but there was some wildlife present. The trail is decent and appropriate for leisure walking. The park itself is a great family oriented place with camping and beaches nearby.

Nice trail and boardwalks. Several opportunities to walk and see the water. Trails were severely flooded.

Well kept trail. Unexpectedly sandy in places. Beautiful beach and view of Lake Erie grace the northern half of the loop. However, chased by a basset hound... people, please keep your dogs on leashes, or train them otherwise. All in all, great 3 mile jog.

nice variety of paths from beginner to intermediate. plenty of maps and location tags to keep you on trail. Getting hot? Follow the signs to lakefront walking to cool down. Great.

Awesome trail. A little confusing to follow, but once you understand the layout you can navigate it. Several sceneries, and includes a nice beach walk!

Would be good for bird watchers, saw several varieties. But trail itself was not very appealing. Spray for mosquito's it is a wetland.
