Nice for longer day hikes but since this is an equestrian trail it’s a bit rough. Fairly muddy even though it hadn’t rained in several days. Not a lot of elevation change. We hiked 14 miles on a nice November day and only saw 4 other hikers so light traffic as well

good trail for moderate exercise. suggest going around sun down to see more wildlife. not many views of the lake unless you go off the path to the water. overall a great hike

This is a good, wooded trail beside a nice lake and it is not too far from the south area of metropolitan Columbus. There are moderate hills. You occasionally see wildlife including deer, especially in early morning or before sundown. I enjoy letting my dogs run here during weekdays when there are very few visitors. The trail is not very well maintained and litter is often present. My GPS reads <4 but 3 miles, roundtrip.
