Great trail and enjoyed even on a hot day ! Lots of shade on this trail.

Pretty difficult for the first few miles on the Buckeye Trail portion, but still a lot of fun. The Towpath is a good break while you walk back. Some cool views along the way.

There are a couple trees/obstacles along the Buckeye Trail when I went; was not a problem though.

We were very happy with this trail. Enough space between elavations and beautiful scenery.

Nice trail not to long just enough.shaded

Beautiful

Nice trail. Decent elevation. Quiet & peaceful. A little off the beaten path.

Definitely a moderate hike; lots of ups and downs and multiple small river crossings. I saw quite a few people on horses and there was bit of poop, but it never bothered me.

There were two large fallen trees on the trail while I was there. Not a problem for hikers, but could be for horses.

Easy trail, but those bringing pets beware - even though we stayed on trail, we had to remove multiple ticks after our walk.

Great place to hike and the falls were spectacular.

This trail is pretty easy 80% of the time, but the dip in the middle can sneak up on you. I’d like to stop by the lake in the middle next time, but other than that there isn’t much to this trail.

Nice trail. Not busy. There is a lack of any specific "views ". A good hike but not photo worthy

A Moderate to Hard trail for the area considering the distance and the number of elevation changes. We loved the hike and look forward to doing it again in the future. I brought my binoculars in hopes that I might see a bird or two along the path. I think the 90 degree heat of the day kept the birds so inactive that i different raise my glasses once.

Great Trail I never knew was there! I would put this in the moderate to hard category for the area due to all the climbs and difficult footing. It was 90 degrees that afternoon which made if sticky and buggy too. Lot of mosquitoes so bring your bug spray. Many Pileated Woodpeckers and Wood Thrush in the area. We will be back to do this one again!

Perfect trail for a 94 degree day. This trail is 80% flat and in the shade of some of the oldest forest in the valley. The trail is well marked with a lot of cut backs to shorten the trail if needed. Lots of birds in the area, scarlet tanagers and pileated woodpeckers can be heard and seen if patient. I will be back to run this trail since it is more like tow path with it's condition, maintenance and few things to trip over.

Great hike with friends today. FYI - the landslide deadfall is easily passable. Through the creek to the left, up the bank and over one tree and back on the trail. Not dangerous.

It is a terrific trail with great scenery. The most well-marked trail I have ever ridden. The surface was very smooth from Akron all the way to Cleveland.

Nice, easy hike with some interesting landscapes to explore. Walking through the ravines and seeing everything covered in moss was fun. Worth exploring if you are at the National Park.

I hiked this trail because of its proximity to the ledges trail (which I highly recommend) and didnt do as much research as I normally would. Although the trail was beautiful and well maintained, I couldn't get over the crowds of people at the falls. Pushing my way through sweaty groups to get a photo of the falls left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess I was hoping the falls would be more of a reward for those willing to hike the 2 miles through the woods instead of a tourist attraction with a parking lot a few yards away.

Unbelievably beautiful trail. The rock formations and lookout points are breath taking . The trail is definitely one of the most popular in the area so expect to be held up by some of the amateur photographers and sightseers. Not a very challenging trail although there are definitely spots where you'll have to watch your footing to avoid rolling an ankle or tripping over a root or rock. Hands down one of my favorite trails to date.

Stunning rock formations! We absolutely loved the mix of slightly steep inclines with plenty of level path for soaking in the views. The ice cold pockets by the caves were so refreshing on a humid day! Would love to do again!

Gorgeous falls! We went to the left at the fork in the path where the stairs are to your right and I’m glad we did! We loved getting to close out the loop with the gorgeous falls!! Stopped by the pond and it was not worth the detour. Liked that you had the option of skipping the hike and seeing the falls if you physically weren’t up for a hike but be prepared for lots of stairs :)! More than worth it though!!

Such I a great peaceful trail. Definitely moderate, especially when wet like it was for me, but this is just what I was looking for when wanting a nice way to kill a couple hours.

Beautiful views. Fairly easy in our opinion; it was me, my husband and our 1.5y old(the hubs wore her). There was a few trees to climb over, we walked what looked like was once the bottom of the river for some time(probably has more water during heavy rains I’d imagine) some places had a good amount of water. I’d like to do it again when there’s more rain!
