As of October 2020, users have reported the lookout tower is currently closed. Cox Arboretum is a lovely mix of flower gardens with paved pathways and wooded trails for visitors to choose from. Be sure to check out the pond and butterfly enclosure. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved (bricks) or dirt and typically at least four feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (all 5% or less). The dirt trails may be an uneven ride for wheelchair/mobility equipment/stroller users due to roots in the surface. There are stairs along some of the paved paths. There are benches along the way for resting, particularly around the pond.Show more
