Pretty good trail run. A few stairs and a half mile hill to challenge you. Some parts were very muddy but it’s rain season

Pretty boring trail. Not worth the drive.

Ok. Did this trail last week. Why? I won’t be doing it again. There’s nothing to see here folks.

I just rucked here the other day. I had 55lbs in my bag. It’s an easy trail and it’s pretty but leaves you wanting lots more. Lots lots more. Brecksville Reservation is pretty amazing but this trail isn’t. There.

Nice walk. Not on most popular trails which have you a chance to enjoy beautiful nature by yourself

Unbelievably muddy hike in early spring. This trail runs through an study area in which trees were cut in 1996 to promote growth of oaks and wildflowers. Kind of a sad site in the winter. Decent elevation gain with access to Buckeye Trail and My Mountain overlook.

Nice trail, not always marked well, but the path is well worn. Very muddy right now, “cave” is a lot smaller than I thought but still nice. Decent elevation, especially for Ohio.

little bit muddy!

First time at this trail and was happily surprised by how nice it was. Ended up being around 4 miles with nice elevation changes. Took our 9 month old border collie with us and she had no troubles. We went counter clockwise and enjoyed the small waterfall at the end of the hike - for where we parked at. Really enjoyed this hike & I’m looking forward to going back in the summer!

Trees down everywhere blocking many parts of the trail. Some apparently for months. Truly sad that park maintenance staff haven’t done their jobs. I probably could be a nice trail but not in its current state of disrepair.

I really enjoyed this hike. Lots of gentle hills and valleys, and enjoyed the rocks and “cave”. Really looking forward to returning in the spring when everything is green.

Beautiful trail with a lot of hills!

Parking is limited but the trail is really pretty

Followed the red trail to the green trail. Red trail wasn't marked that well and at times we had to guess that we were going the right way. Red trail shares time with the horse trail so that meant most of the walk was covered in horse poop, so that was annoying trying to go up the hills and around the poop all the time. We went backward on the green trail and went up the hills. The green trail seemed more populated with dog walkers everywhere. It was a beautiful day and the trails were pretty. I didn't see trash and the water was clear. Stopped at the Nature Center and it was a cute little stop.

Great trail to hike with the family.

Monderate for sure. Beautiful scenery was beautiful.

So many options and all are easy if you stay on a path. The main path is paved and alongside the road. While lots of people use it i have not seen it overcrowded. There are a few places to stop along ye way - picnic area or swings of river. The dirt paths are adventurous, fun and occasionally challenging. If you choose to go into the riverbed be careful - it is super fun but not always easy or moderate. I go here at least weekly and do something different each time.

Great hike. And although its not quite a "mountain view" the My Mountain View area is a beautiful extra on this trail.

A lot of steep hills both up and down. Recommend starting at the trail head so you don't see the best parts first.

I was very disappointed that the most beautiful area of this trail was marked "no trespassing". Disappointed and a little pissed tbh.

Beautiful views along the gorge. Well marked trail. Not super difficult. Will definitely be one to do more often.

Nice little cave and ledge like features. But if you explore above the small waterfall near the cave the way the water has carved out its path in the rock is kinda cool if you ask me.

We've done this trail many times, winter through summer. There are some great hills and a valley that leads to the nature center. We end up on the bridal trail and near the end of the hike there is a very steep hill! Several creeks to cross and hills to climb. We love it! We veer off the trail some to catch the bridal trail because it presents more of a challenge. If you do the trail backwards, counter clockwise, there are more uphills than downhills.

Great place to walk your furry friend

It's probably the time in here, but a very muddy trail. The Nature Center was a nice sidetrack.

Fun Little day hike. I did this loop and where the Buckeye trail branches off i followed it out to the towpath to the chippewa bridge to take some pictures. Then headed back and finished the loop. Added maybe 3 miles to the day but it was well worth it. The loop by itself would be maybe a bit lackluster as the feature was not what i was expecting. would do it again though with family or friends. Would be a good trail run as well.
