Nice clearly marked, shady, could get dicey with heavy rain.

I just found this trail and it is absolutely my favorite trail. The trail follows a creek through a beautiful wooded area. This trail is easy and flat for the majority of the time. The top loop is moderate with a couple of hills to go up and down. There is nothing but shade for the entire length, which is very nice during summer months. This trail offers a ton of scenery and ample opportunity to observe native wildlife. Located just outside of Oxford on Miami U woodland, this trail feels like a wilderness adventure close to civilization. Absolutely well worth hiking. You won't be disappointed. If you go from Memorial Day through Labor Day on the weekend, check out the DeWitt Homestead. Built in 1803, it's well worth visiting and tours are 12pm - 4pm during summer. Just follow the gravel road at the trailhead about a quarter of a mile to get there.

This is an excellent trail. Nothing to difficult, some ups and downs. Great for birding.

My recording goes down the east flank from the parking on Oxford Milford. I included Bosel Pond and that lollipop back towards Oxford Milford and headed south from there and back up the west flank of Bachelor Preserve and didn't get to the middle trail today. That's why my map looks different. Generally speaking I've found this string of preserves from Kramer in the north to Beck's in the South to be nice walks in the woods. Trails are clear to follow and there are map signs at every intersection. Generally nice and quiet though they do see pretty heavy use from the university students, quite a few trail runners. Everyone is out enjoying a walk or a run in the woods and it stays pretty peaceful. I see a lot of birds, squirrels, some rabbits and deer and can find tracks of raccoons and opossum as well. I've never been in this trail system without runn9ng into some mud, it's pretty wet today. Even in the summer some of the more chewed up places act almost like bridle paths and hold water, but then it's far less extensive.

The further you go on the trail the better it becomes. Nice pond to relax by along the way.

Fun hike, not too difficult. Lots of shade luckily, we went on a pretty hot day.

trail was great.a great place to train for a longer hike.

Trail was easy except for the mud. Good water features and fun suspended bridge was nice. Will redo in the summer

Very easy trails, should not be listed as moderate. Well marked, in wooded area. Recent storm has few trees down blocking the trail.

Scenic east walk along stream.
