Alum Creek's 3,387-acre reservoir and 4,630-acres of gently rolling span of fields and woodlands provides a hub of recreational activity just minutes from Ohio's capital city. Quiet coves nestled among shale cliffs await the solitary fisherman in the park's northern reaches while sunseekers mingle with thousands on Ohio's largest inland beach.

Nice trail for running. A bit technical but absolutely doable even if you aren't an expert trail runner. Bikers were friendly and warned as they came up behind me; plenty or room to get out of the way.

If I am in the area again, I will definitely come back.

nothing marked....gross...dirty

a great trail to start the day with!

I didn't do this exactly but I found alum creek flat repetitive and kind of boring. I went just over 7 miles over the dam in the woods. Highbanks and Blendon Woods are better

Good cover and scenic views. It would benefit from better trail markings/markers and some trail maintenance

Went to walk on the peachblow trail.
Disappointed that the grassy paths that looked like they get mowed had not been mowed this year. We were concerned with ticks since this is a big problem this year around here.
The wooded paths were fine.
Trails were marked kind well. Good maps at intervals but there were confusing branch paths. Hard to tell were we were.
Next visit we'll try to find a map. The station at the trail head was closed.
