Nice little hike. Went early and was alone most of the time.

The trail is great for beginners but might be boring for some experienced riders as there are no jumps or drops and no berms to keep your speed going. The trail is always having new things added but is not maintained that well and used to have poor irrigation but that problem has been solved and there are a few muddy spots after a rainy day but the over all condition is good.

Very enjoyable trails for the whole family. Mostly shaded and fun to look for the different rocks. Really enjoyed the Enchanted Forest Trail section. Really beautiful.

Gr8 with kids- the stone arts make it very interesting for the kids.

This area is awesome; doing the full Backside Loop makes this a solid walk/hike in the woods. Few painted rocks on this trail as they haven't "migrated" from the Main Loop yet. Watch the trail, it would benefit from a few more trail signs ... there is one point where you have to take a left or right (take a right). If you take a left at 0.7 miles, it's a really nice loop but brings you back to the current trail, about 200 yards earlier (after walking for about 1/3 of a mile). There are also plenty of UNMARKED cut offs if you want to make the trail shorter.

This area is a hidden gem here in the Charlotte area. Very awesome for families and interactive (i.e. bring and move painted rocks). Highly recommend!!!
