A lightly traveled remote trail providing gorgeous 360 degree views from Pond Mountain and Stone Mountain peaks, and access to TN-VA-NC tri-point. Runs along old farm roads and is moderate in difficulty.
Trailhead is accessible by car only during September-December. Gate closures add a 5 mile round trip just to reach the trailhead during January-March and a shorter 2 mile round trip to reach the trailhead during April-August.
This is an active gameland (no hunting allowed on Sundays) so it is recommended to wear orange during hunting season.Show more
