I am new to the alltrails app, but I have been riding this Greenway for years. I typically ride from North Cary Park South to the intersection at Maynard, North to Reedy Creek, then across the bridge that connects to the Crabtree Lake Greenway, and a Morrisville Greenway that ends at Route 54. all of these green ways are directly connected. These are all paved and well-maintained. There are only minor elevation changes, with the exception of riding in and out at North Cary Park, and riding over a ridge on Dynasty. those two areas are fairly short, but steep, first gear hills. Riding over the hill on Dynasty is the only spot that requires riding on a city street. traffic there is generally light, but the bike lane is narrow, and sight lines around the curves and over the hill is limited. The south end of the route continues to Bond Park. there are a few Street Crossings and a little more urban riding along that part of the route, and I rarely take it. The North End of the route at Reedy Creek Road connects to the single-track trails in Lake Crabtree Park, and the gravel roads in Umstead Park. Most of the route is well shaded in summer, and it is all rideable in Winter except for the rare times when we have snow and ice. pedestrian and bicycle traffic is generally light on weekdays, but can get busy on weekends, especially in nice weather.

The woods part was fun, the pavement was pretty busy with lots of activities!
