Nice walk but not much to see. Only part with water views is the beginning/end of the loop. Lots of wildlife; turtles nesting in the trails. Bring bugspray and lord bring yourself and pets some tick repellent!

First time hiking this trail. Mostly good trail with some parts leaf covered and muddy. Careful of covered roots when hiking and the need to look at ways to get around the muddy parts

Camped over night I the backpacking campsite. Very easy trail no big surprises. Lots of birds to see other wildlife not so much. The owls were extremely talkative at night.

enjoyed the hike. when I got to the end, the trail was closed. I came on out anyway since I was at the end of the trail. when I walked back, the entrance was closed, so I guess it got closed while I was on it. the lady at the visitors center knew I was on it because she recommended I hike that trail.

a whole lot of fun. I was by myself and the wind tried to take me for a ride I've in a while. saw a snake and turtles... no alligators. went to the last buoy!

It is an easy, uneventful trail with occasional views of the swamp. Flat most of the time. I went in April and there were some mosquitos already but not too bad

Very nice trail. Can be long for some.

Make sure to bring your bug spray. A fallen tree also blocked the path, otherwise it was well maintained.

Beautiful scenery. We saw an alligator from afar as well as so many turtles. There are campgrounds available that are only accessible by canoe or kayak.

I take my dog here and run a 2-3 times around the loop. It's a nice trail but not good in the summer due to the bugs and humidity..

Love to paddle this lake. Thick with duck weed and full of exotic looking little frogs it from a different time and place.

This trail was closed for almost a year after Hurrican Matthew destroyed the boardwalks in 2016. It just reopened with brand new boardwalks and looks amazing. This is a super easy trail with water views almost the whole way around. It is an ADA trail, so almost completely flat. Not sure why someone tagged this as "no dogs" because dogs can go anywhere in the park as long as they are on a leash.

A stunning landscape, so vibrant. Don't forget your skeeter spray tho!

This trail is nothing more than OK. It is not wheelchair accessible. that was a big plus for my wife and I due to needn't a stroller for our little one. I never saw any river views either. The large rocks in many parts of the trailare a hazard to joggers. May want to update the description.

Came here Easter weekend and chose the backpack in camping site. 2.2 miles to those locations. Very easy trail and only saw about a dozen people. It was very peaceful but nothing really remarkable that made us stop and look at for very long. Minimal wildlife. Lots of owls at night. Great place to get away and relax.

Nice 2 miles trail especially for kids. Lightly rolling terrain that around the half way points starts to meander next to the pond. Easy hike. Few muddy low points and a few small bridges across streams. Good view of Cyprus and knees.

We always love this trail I take the kiddos every chance we can the park does an amazing job keeping the grounds in walking order even when trees fall. It's always nice to visit and take in the beautiful sites.

Good day hike with the kiddos, close to home!

Enjoyed the beautiful scenery on a mild November day. The trail was not busy at all, only saw three people on the trail. Will go back when I have more time to take it all in and to check the other trails in the area.

Four stars because it's mostly quite beautiful, but some trails are a bit too overgrown for safety in a swampy, snakey, buggy area during the summer.
