Map a little hard to follow. Beautiful trails. Nice and shady!

Nice trail, cool features, and one bad snapping turtle (that I noticed). Staff very polite.

Great shaded paved trail for running.

Decent trail: easy hike, well kept. Lots of creek/lake spots for my pup to get some water

Nice local, shady trail, trails not marked extremely well though

Beautiful trail. My dogs loved seeing all the squirrels.

Wonderful park in the middle of the city. There are many different trails to choose from. I especially love the section along the creek because it gives my husky a chance to cool off. My only complaint is that so many people let their dogs run loose, although it is specifically prohibited. Dogs are allowed but in order to protect animals, for example nests, they are supposed to be on leash. But no one seems to care and it gives us dog owners a bad reputation.

nice local trail for a quick hike.

Shorter border loop trail through the forest and by lower Camp Durant Lake good for trail running and hikes with kids. The lower dam is currently closed for construction as of January 2019.

Nice hike around Camp Durant Lake, which in January 2019 is currently drained and the lower dam is closed due to construction. Still a nice trail. I liked the upper dam area with the spillway, which is still flowing.

Best trail of the park, takes you along streams - Simm's Branch and Secret Creek, over the big dam (currently closed as of January 2019) and through some pine and hardwood forest. Good hike in the middle of North Raleigh. I combined with the Secret Creek leg to make a bigger border loop.

Pine Ridge trail is not much of a trail, but it does take you to Simm's Branch and some play areas.

Nice short trail along a creek, with some water running over some big rocks (wouldn't call them waterfalls). Parallels the Simm's Branch greenway on the other side of the branch for a short distance. Included in the Border trail, this is a nice nature opportunity for kids.

A great trail to go on during a hot sunny day because of all the tree cover you get. Took the inner trails which run around near the lake. An easy walk with well kept trails.

I took 2 dogs on this trail and managed it pretty easily. There was plenty of access to water for cooling off and loads of shade on the trail. Pretty cool hike!

Nice easy trail for young children or pregnant adults.

Very nice trail, although not as much lake as the photos suggest. Mostly forested, well marked, great hike for a hot day.

Disagree about the "all skill levels", but is great for a weekend run or ride. Great spot for families. Connects Durant nature park.

Nice quick recreational area. Connects to Durant greenway trail. Good for weekend bikers and family walks

Loveee this trail! You see so many cool things along the way! Worth it and quite a work out!

Easy hike. Very quiet and hidden park. Lots of little trails that are all connected, made it easier with the pups to venture down other trails to avoid the traffic.

It is a black topped trail, great for all ages to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
