Very accessible hike with incredible falls along the way. The elevation gain is all in a very short party of the trail, side from that it was easy going. We hiked all the way to Hooker Falls which was a little disappointing after seeing High Falls and Triple Falls it did look like a nice place to swim when a bit warmer though.

Pretty easy trail but highly trafficked. Viewing points of the waterfalls where pretty awesome. Trail is really well kept.

The river bend trail is not a flat trail good for walking. It looks like they are planning a trail there but it’s not ready yet.

The rest of the trails are great. Mostly packed dirt. Was nice to get down to the base of the falls and crawl on the rocks. Nice place to sit and have a snack. Lots of people had their dogs.

Got caught in a hale storm. Just shows you have to go prepared. All in all, great day!

Not too challenging. Kids 5, 8, 10, and 12 all hiked it and enjoyed a swim in the middle. Will definitely do it again!

Loved hiking this trail! Extremely well marked and a highly trafficked area. We got there around 7:45am and we were the only people there. By time we left around 11, the parking lot was full of cars. Really enjoyed all the different waterfalls!

Trail was easy to hike with 4 kids ages 3-9. Most of the trail is gravel, so we kept getting it in our keens. We recommend boots or athletic shoes to prevent that. Pretty views. No suitable place for little kids to enter and play in the water.

Clean, easy trail with an awesome river view and steps that take you down to the base of the falls for a nice close up of this beauty. It can get crowded, especially in the spring and summer months...early morning or late afternoon hike is recommended.

Gorgeous and peaceful. Hiked with a 2 month old in a carrier and 4 year old through Hooker Falls and Triple Falls and everyone had fun!

Lovely, easy walk to great little waterfall. Good for families. Make the effort to walk back towards the Falls. Great paddling. Went midweek so it wasn't busy at all.

Alright, waterfall is pretty cool. Nothing spectacular.

Good hike, with a great waterfall at the end.

I feel this was morr towards moderate than difficult, but by no means easy. It's flat in the beginning and then there is a left and you go uphill for a while. Amazing views, well worth the effort.

Easy hike with smooth trail. Be wary of bikers

A well-manicured and often over-populated trail to a stepped falls. Not as impactful as High Falls, but a nice easy hike for families. Go early in the day or late to avoid the masses.

Nice trail, easy hike and only a few bikers today. The river water was higher than usual, when crossing it got tricky since the water was higher than normal and slick rocks.

love love love this whole area for hiking! The trails are wide easy accessible and kid friendly. You can get is close To the falls in still stay within the parks guidelines for warnings. There’s three separate waterfalls spread out over this area all of them are equally beautiful and extremely powerful. absolutely one of my favorites to photograph

Easy trail and with a sweet little falls that empties into a pool of water before it rushes out into a rather loud fast flowing river.

Absolutely breath taking! Very easy and short hike to get to the falls. You can sit on the rocks at the second level and enjoy the view. Would highly recommend!

It's actually quite easy, with the only real uphill portions being short and not very steep regardless. Definitely a great place for a family trip. We started the figure 8 with turning left for a clockwise loop and by the end of the lower loop, I *think* that the signs pointing you back to the parking lot are...backwards? I hate to say that because I'm sure it's me who read them wrong but I did the opposite of what they said after they led me back to Nook's portion, and I ended up at my car. (?)

This wasn’t as difficult as I was expecting. Nice views from the top. Wouldn’t recommend going when it’s too wet out because I can imagine the rocks getting pretty slick up there. Will do it again with friends/family but avoid bringing any little ones unless we stuck to the easier side of the mountain. Not the greatest views from below but would probably recommend for bikers.

We went today and absolutely loved it. So peaceful and lots of off trail places to stop and relax by the water. It was gorgeous!

Very beautiful and easy hike. The waterfalls are very beautiful, make sure you stop for a little while at each of them just to enjoy them. It was very quiet when I was there, but I assume it will be very busy in summer. Lots of places to swim as well. Definitely coming back in summer!

First, my review is from the perspective of an amateur landscape photographer

Second, the trail itself is easy to find, well maintained, generally dry and free of obstructions such as roots and rocks. The trail is not marked but even a novice can stay on it. All the trail junctions are posted and point to major landmarks.

Third, most of the trail is typical eastern US forest and is nothing special, with the exception of the two waterfalls, Triple and High. I feel the Triple has the better composition potential. Make sure you take the stairs down to the creek. On the “con” side the falls are open, not shaded and you are shooting into the sun. Try to visit on an overcast day to reduce the extremes in contrast.

If you want to save some time and effort just do Triple Falls and bypass High. But if you also want to do High then you may also want to take the Covered Bridge Trail. At just 0.2 miles (one way) it’s worth seeing.
