Easy hike. The other two falls have inclines so it’s a workout on those.

Easy hike. Falls were running full. Great place to picnic on the big rocks while looking at the falls.

High falls is a very impressive extremely high waterfall and triple falls is also impressive. It is well worth the hike.

nice easy trail

If you are impaired and can't do the stairs go to the picnic shelter for a view of all 3 falls. Good place to take a break. Port a John on site.

Was an easy trail for a newbie to start on!

Loved it you can swim and walk they the water

We chose this trail because it was rated ‘easy’ on this app and we had a 3.5 year old and a 7 year old with us. Even though they did pretty well, this trail was NOT easy. The park map labels the first section of the trail from the parking lot ‘moderate’ and the second part of the trail ‘difficult’. The waterfall was lovely but a little hidden. The trail itself was rocky and had some steep inclines at points. We used the directions from this app to get to the parking lot and the trail head. Directions were good. However, make sure to also use this app to find your way to Wintergreen Falls bc it is not labeled on the way down the trail in the park, until about half way in. Overall decent hike, but again, NOT ‘easy’.

Great loop and great falls. The short cut trail no longer there so use alternate around airstrip!

my favorite fall at Dupont.

Easy hike...well maintained pathways.

Was a nice hike. Kids had fun playing in the water.

Easy double loop, Burnt Mountain has no views but a pleasant walk in the woods. Lots of Mountain bikers. The Cedar Rock segment has some great views and lovely exposed rock sections. You can shorten this loop a little. Done this many times in all seasons. Great winter hike if you live in the area

Great hike, but go early on the weekends... add a mile by going all the way down to Hooker falls and go swimming. Steep hike back up but only for a quarter of a mile...

As others have said, more of a path than a trail but this area is beautiful. The beginning of the Triple Falls Trail is fairly steep but it really levels out after that. The stairs that go to the bottom of Triple Falls are definitely worth your time. There is also a path that goes to the base of High Falls that give you an opportunity to get close to the falls for some really cool views. It had been raining a lot when we were there so the water was up and High Falls was awesome. We got there early and had no problems with parking or crowds. Foot traffic got very heavy on our way down and when we got back to the parking lot it was full and people were parking down the road for a half mile in both directions. Go early!

This is a mulit-use trail: Horseback, Hiking and Mountain Biking. I’m my opinion, it’s a far better biking trail than hiking trail because there is not much to see. If you hike this, I suggest being extremely cautions on the northern east-west run of trail. This section is mostly down-hill when traveling counter-clockwise and it is extremely flowing with bermed turns - bikes can (and likely will) be traveling through this section with serious speed. I have ridden all of the trails in DuPont and this particular section of trail is the fastest in the park. If you are hiking with kids - I’d avoid all together. If you plan to bike this trail clock-wise, turn around or be ready to get off the trail in a hurry.

Great to hop around the falls and explore in a very leisurely hiking atmosphere

Secluded beautiful waterfall - the trail was a little boring for kids, but easy.

definitely a good work out and the end result is well worth it. just beware of the overgrown area that you have to duck through for about 40ft. and there are diamond back rattle snakes so be careful. otherwise a great hike.

Scenic, heavy foot traffic, beautiful waterfalls.

We hiked this trail today and my 8 year old loved it. High Falls is very impressive, especially after all the rain they have been getting in the area. The base was closed because of it, but still the view from the trail was stunning. It’s a pretty easy hike and the trail is very well maintained. Definitely recommend the hike!

The parking lot is unimproved dirt and is medium sized so it fills quickly. (I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls Trail leads to a popular swimming area at the base of the falls and is only minutes from the parking lot. After an easy walk to view this small falls, double back, cross the bridge, and head uphill to the beautiful Triple Falls and further up to High Falls. At Triple Falls there is a long set of wooden steps that lead you to a flat rock landing between the 2nd and 3rd falls and is an excellent spot to view and photograph all three of the Triple Falls. (Don't miss this.) The viewing area has a single wire cable preventing visitors from straying too near the falls but kids could walk right under it. High Falls is a beautiful, long double cascade with a covered bridge at the top and can be easily seen from the viewing area along the trail.

(I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls is really just a first stop before doubling back and heading up to Triple Falls and High Falls, which are really the main attractions.

An easy 5.1 round trip hike from the main parking lot at Dupont Forest. What a gorgeous waterfall, very powerful and ever changing.

Really crowded hike and this was on a weekday. I did this and a bit more. I started at Hooker Falls, went up to see those falls and then turned up to Triple Falls and onto High Falls. From there I continued up over the covered bridge over High Falls and went up to Grassy Creek Falls - that's worth skipping as there was nothing to see. From Grassy Creek I turned back up on Buck Forest Road down to Thomas Cemetery to Sandy to Wintergreen Falls. Then back up to the Guion parking area and then back all the way on Buck Forest. A good long lollipop but this whole area is really easy to hike.

Pretty very populated
