I walk half cross the bridge.

Very quite and my family loved it:). The trails was wide enough for my bf me and our 6 dogs:)

Soothing and relaxing trail walk/run with multiple trails. The dam was really cool.

Great Saturday activity with the dogs

Great hike...you can get crossed between the orange and green trail very easily

There's a hiking trail that crosses with the horse trail. It was really nice. Beautiful scenery. Not too hilly. Roughly 2 miles. Just watch out for horseflies!

Awesome trail kinda short but it's beautiful

I wouldn't take this one again for the soul thing that's there horse poop yeah it's an equestrian trail but it's everywhere

Great trail. Markings not always clear. We lost the orange bridle trail, got on the green hiking trail and could not find the orange bridle trail again. Hiking bridges not suitable for horses.

I love the trails here, and how nature is completely surrounding. There are a few different trails you can hike/walk depending on the distance you would like to go.
I gave this four stars because the map on site is a bit confusing at first.

Great trail. Love the scenery and the various terrain. I love a trail that can feed my craving for adventure and the Spoon Branch portion of this park definitely does.

Nice and quiet but don't think it's worth the drive because didn't find it an interesting hike except for small waterfall I just uploaded. Seems good for horses though.

This park is maintained by Alamance County. The address is Burlington however it is located several miles south of Burlington of Highway 49 South. I have walked an GPSed the entire set of trails. There are a new net of trails which are marked green, white, and blue. These trails are blown clear of leaves on a regular basis and are easy to follow. They total approximately, 4 miles. There still exist the older trails which , at this time, are blocked by logs, etc but are excellent trails but without signage. The markings and guides for these trails have been removed so if you get on them you better have a GPS or just keep walking, you'll eventually come out or connect with the new trails.
The trails average 1.5 miles to 2.5 miles. You may be able to find a copy of the old map, cached online which by overlaying with the new map, you can get the gist of what is out there. I have both maps plus my GPS maps so can do anything from 1 hour to 3 hours of hiking.Milage is too complicated to compute. Basically, the trails are maintained by those who do not and have never hiked and do not understand the importance of knowing where one is when hiking.
New trails are being laid out with markers visible in the woods off the trails. These trails are in the planning stage only and are not usable, at all.
The park is open year round.
There is a bridal trail which circles the park. This trail is also blown clear of leaves and is delegated to the use of horses only.

To be as close as it is to Burlington, it's a nice hike. It was a little more challenging that I expected, probably still easy but getting up to the moderate range. A couple spots were a little tricky figuring out which way the trail went, and there are some side trails that can be confusing if you don't have a map. On a wekday morning I was the only one on the trail, at least in the 2 miles or so that I traveled.

This was a first hike in N.C and alot of fun with the dog. Alot of stone out cropings and streams. Some wildlife, deer and owls. A nice easy hike to shake off the morning brain fog. I hiked it daily for four months and never got sick of it. REALLY!!
