Easy paved trail good for walking, cycling, and swimming...fairly close to neighborhoods, various parks, and downtown Smithfield. The trail spans between Falls Dam and the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh. The trail starts near the old bridge and ends at the complex. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved, smooth, and typically at least six feet wide. It is mostly gentle with an estimated average grade of 2% and a max grade of 5%. There are dirt spur trails leading down to the river - they may be narrow and steeper. Most wheelchair/mobility equipment and stroller users will find this trail navigable.Show more
