Alternative route to the peak of Pokamoonshine. This route is less steep, but longer. Trail passes by what appeared to be a Beaver pond, as well as the remains of the observers cabin near the junction with the other standard route. Trail then joins with the other route for a quarter mile hike to the peak, firetower, and views of Vermont and the Champlain valley.Show more
