Nice trail
Did the loop but we weren't prepared to
Jump the stream 8 times
The first leap was the most difficult
But what a nice view

The trail itself is lovely. However, the trail map, as of September 29, 2018, is way inaccurate in parts. Follow the trail markers instead of this map.

Hiked it twice, once in April and again around July 4th. Had it to myself in April and joined a spontaneous sunset party with about 20 others July 4th. Great people and a great view.

lots of mushrooms and slick rocks. beautiful, dense, quiet.

Interesting trail. A lot of loose rock at the top. Unfortunately we hiked it on a drizzly day so when we arrived at the top, we were in dense fog

We roller blade here every year - always fun!

Really great trail and beautiful scenery. The trail is short with a bit of elevation gain as you follow the river. The falls have a unique shape, with a large rock dividing the cascades. There’s a short set of stairs that bring you to the pool below. We spent a lot of time climbing on rocks, exploring the gorge and taking in the scenery. Unfortunately swimming is not allowed, so if you are looking for a place to cool off, this isn’t the place to go. But if you just want to visit the waterfall, it’s definitely worth it.

Beautiful hike. I recommend starting on the cedar creek trail to the top. Dense forest. Crisscrossing over the creek. Some steep sections to challenge you. Beautiful view at sunset rock.

It is a great trail for family, easy and get great view.

Nice out and back w different options to ascend. I took the blue trail up (Cedar Creek) and the white and red trails down. Good choice - steep grades up, gentle declines. A bit rocky in spots and slippery in the rain but fairly graded as moderate. Didn’t get a view due to the fog but expect it’s a very panoramic one. 2 hrs round trip incl an extra 1.2 miles on descent through campground. 4.9 miles total

Nice hike up along a stream, crisscrossing it along the way. Then a straight shot to the rock. Only 5.5 hours to sunset! Nice view.

Pretty view at the top. One section had a steep climb, but not super long. Nice walk along creek side.

South road is 20.6 miles out and back, ends at Millerton due to construction. There is a detour on Route 22N to the northern section to complete the trail around Copake at the Massachusetts border in Columbia County which I've done before by itself. Total mileage is closer to 50 miles round trip from Wassaic according to my Garmin. Nice workout and scenery but a bit too flat for me. Bad cell coverage and dropouts in recording the whole trail on my old iPhone (south and north parts). Total trail not represented on alltrails.com, this section here is only the northern part. You can find the whole trail on other websites. Well maintained. One thing I did like about this trail is that you can pick up speed and sustain it for a while since there are not that many people on the path and there are long straight sections to see safely in front of you.

Great trail ! Took me some 2h15! Overall very happy with the choice -- beautiful views at the rock and an overall wonderful experience.

Me and my wife enjoyed the hike. A very constant incline until you get to top.

Beautiful view at the top!!

Great hike for the views. Not much water nearby on the trail. Such as streams or rivers. Bring plenty of water for this hike. The markers are white paint as well. I ended up at Alander Mt. and hiked back in less than three hours.

Great hike. Lots of stream crossings but easy. Scramble up to meet SOuth T trail then nice walk to the view. Spectacular! Don't forget to take a left at the fenced in pipe to get back to Bish Bash falls parking lot. 11 year old thought the first mike was magical- we kept looking for gnomes

Very quiet, road biking trail. I think it was a rail track that was paved, and they are continuing expansion of the trail. It was very flat, lots of trees that provided shade, and lots of other bikers/joggers/roller-bladers. The scenery was absolutely beautiful too. I really enjoyed it, this site says it's 11 miles, but I traced it on google maps and it turned out to be 18 miles, the difference may be due to the expansion. But over-all, a great ride!
