despite two other reviews mentioning mosquitoes... my husband, and I took our infant son and tried it anyway. It was a mistake! Even drenched in deet, there were swarms of mosquitoes .
If it weren't for that, it would have been perfect! the trail was actually a road/driveway which was nice, wide and flat. Once past the house there was beautiful dunes and Marsh. very interesting trees and plants. Couldn't stop for pictures or the bugs would get us. When we got to the water there was a nice beach. We went in the water and it was fairly shallow all the way out. The mosquitos didnt follow us to the beach, but were replaced by nasty biting horseflies.
In short, beautiful walk but only if you like being eaten alive.

Boring and extremely buggy. Not usually bothered by them but crazy bites

A lot of cut down trees but a beautiful stroll.
