Nice short sweet simple whack, but not necessarily easy. I went straight up and my calves were feeling it by the summit, and bombing back down my hamstrings were starting to sing. Only saw signs of herdpaths once up on summit ridge. From some prior research I was able to locate some great views up on top, from the ledges you have views south to spruceton valley and beyond as well as down to the west. Really nice lunch spot, and if you like solitude this is a great hike.
