Nice flat trail. Very dog friendly.

Took the dog for a walk through this preserve. The trails are much more narrower than I expected. I avoided them all together. I rather walk through this brush in the winter time when ticks and other bugs are not active. Stayed on the concrete path which I believe is old commack road. Since the trails were not mark, we didn’t realize how far off the map we wondered. It does have to potential for a good hiking and biking area, but it need some work.

A nice trail shaded but there red trail needs to be updated so pay attention. The blue lines are good. And you can get good milage out of this area. Nice for biking too.

Loved this as a beginner mountain bike trail, nice and flat but curvy with options to up the challenge if you want. Bring your phone though, pretty big and easy to get lost with so many crossing trails

nice and flat. good with a dog and baby

There are many crisscrossing trails and you can spend hours wondering around the preserve. Bring your phone if it's your first time there.

This is a great park. I love it and it's dog friendly. Please note that there are A LOT of ticks. Even on the trail.

Ticks everywhere!!!

I personally enjoy this preserve because the trails are more adventurous because many of the trails are not marked. You can spend a few hours aimlessly hiking through the beautiful pine forests or take the abandoned "Old Commack Road" for a nice walk.

This has the potential to be a great ride and a great trail. However it is not marked well at all and can be confusing to some. It's at least 5 miles and some parts are great with dips and nice turns. Never too crowded and always parking.
I hope they start to mark the trails better for future rides.

Nice easy ride after work, trail is definitely at least 5 miles. The trails aren't well marked all the time.

Very barren this time of year. We will try it again in a few weeks when things begin to bloom. We got a little turned around due to lack of trail markers.

Rode these trails many times the loop is more like 5.5 miles. Very good to learn trail ridding. Usually empty and great for a quick workout. Tough to follow if your not paying attention. The land has great potential but mostly flat surfaces.
