This hiking area is one of the best hidden gems in Ithaca for a jaunt, really in any season. Lots of short up and down on small rolling hills that helps it just feel further out than it is.

There are lots of possibilities for where to walk that are detailed better here There is also a map at the parking area that shows you these sub-trails. Explore them all during different seasons, and if you get a chance, take a full-moon hike in the winter. You will not regret waking up and bundling up to enjoy the quiet.

We hiked this set of trails with our dog down to the lake to see the beaver pond and dam. Then over to the railroad tracks and back. Wide trails, easy pace, lovely meadows and terrain. Muddy is spots so be prepared. Next time we will get up onto the ridge and see the bowl and forest. Great little spot

This is a cool little hike that is a nice stop and dash. Parking right off of Route 34 and nice wide well groomed trails. It's a nice view once you reach the water area and all in all worth the hike. A must do if you are in the area. A quick easy 3 miles

Easy and relatively flat trail... Well maintained!
