Hunt's Pond State Park is a small park in a quiet setting with a picnic area and a boat launch site. The park does not have established trails, but adjacent Department of Environmental Conservation land is available for visitors to use for hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

Love this peaceful getaway. The DEC officers are kind folks as well. Good fishing with a nice road to walk around the park on. Non motor boat lunch and just peaceful scenery. No swimming in the water so just a heads up so you dont disappoint the kids.

This is my all time favorite place in the world!

snowshoeing
Wednesday, April 01, 2015

We went to go snowshoeing but they were logging when we were there. we will go back this summer to go canoeing it looks like a good sized pond. My under standing of the camp sites is that they are rustic and you have to get a permit from the DEC about 20 miles away
