A very good moderate hike, definitely not a hard one.
6.4 miles and 3 hours with beautiful views of the Hudson.
3 miles of it is on roads and along the river bed, so technically that part is just walking.
But the initial 3+ miles is a pretty decent workout, varied terrain, some rocks, and brilliant views.
And the road elevation towards the end leading up to the parking is a good one too, giving a bit of satisfaction after 3 miles of just walking.
This hike provides a good opportunity to combine hiking and a picnic along the Nyack beach, saw many people doing that.
Overall, not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.
