The Great Swamp Conservancy is a 115 acre property that includes approximately four miles of flat trails that venture through both a wetland and forested habitat. This trail also features interpretive signage, picnic tables, and benches.
Nice nature trail. Wide open easy to follow trail. Flowers, butterflies, heron and frogs are just a few things you can see during the walk. A large section of the trail is a wooden deck path. Several small water areas along the path. Approach quietly and you may see a heron. We saw three on the walk.
Approximately 1.5 miles of flat , groomed trail that is seasonally wet. There is also 900 foot boardwalk through the swamp. Benches offer a nice relaxing spot to observe the plentiful bird life,butterflies,dragonflies. listen to the amphibians and see the Osprey platform. This is a fantastic bird watching area.
