Very few hikers, quite easy hike, no real views. Good hike through the forest with lakes and streams.

HikingGreat!

BEAUTIFUL TRAIL!! Very well marked, particularly the blue trail, as there seem to be new markers. The Appalachian trail (white), also beautiful, was also well marked, but not as well as the blue. For me, it was my second significant hike-or what I refer to as significant, and I loved that included several types of terrain-including some light rock climbing, and a couple of significant ups and downs, not unmanageable (although ihad a little help from my friends ) Loved being nestled in the woods for much of the hike, but then was awesome to come across a beautiful beaver dam. I can’t wait to do this in the spring when things start blooming. There actually is a new parking area right at the entrance of the trail, so you don’t have to walk the extra 1/2 mile on the toad. Also, while the trail is marked at 7.6 miles, it is in fact, about 8 1/2 miles.

Started this route but was lured by the nearby lake, intended to connect back to the alltrails route sooner but ended up on unmarked trail, which was ok, and connected to Blue again just below Hidden Lake.

Great trail. Would consider it on the easy side of moderate. Went the counterclockwise direction.

very few people on the trail. Dead leaves made it a little difficult, but not a hard hike

Beautiful trail good for all skill levels. Loved the white pine trees along the way and all the beautiful stone ledges.

Pretty trail. Only saw one other person. Leaves were down which made footing more difficult but views better. Crisp air, muted light, and historic old fields and cellar holes gave a lovely contemplative mood to the hike.

HikingGreat!

Great hike on a very well marked Trail. We hit 8.9 miles total including the walk to/from car. Very cool beaver dam with late fat lighting halfway down the AT portion!

Went on an overcast threatening-rain sort of morning. Only a couple other people in the trail. Trail was well marked and not too slippery even with all the wet leaves in the ground. There were a few streams that I had to cross creatively because yesterday’s downpour left them swollen and covered some of the rocks that looked like they would normally be above water. Really lovely, easy trail.

Nice trail. Some slippery spots with all the leaves this time of year. If you’re going later in the day, I recommend taking the blue trail up and coming down the green/white trails because with the angle of the November sun, it was in my face the whole way down the blue trail and made it hard to see the path.
