It’s a nice trail to walk by the water and hear the rapids and the slow gurgle. If you can get there before most people. It’s nice to wander and get a sense of it being farther away from the city than it really is.

Such a pretty trail and so easy to get to. After 2 days of rain parts of the trail had 2” deep running water but that was no surprise. Ideal trail for families with kids or for a 5k trail run. The bridges can be a bit slippery. Use tick prevention and do a thorough post-hike tick check! Even with heavy rain the end of October, I found FOUR ticks on me.

Very nice trail. Also a nice neighborhood to walk.

This one surprised me! Almost the entire trail has the creek running along your side. Plenty of spots to get right up to the water. Pay attention to your surroundings and you’ll find hidden creeks and waterfalls.

Lots of frogs. Easy trails for the most part. Some pretty narrow and overgrown. Bring bug spray.

I brought my 3 children and our dog along with us; hadn't been here in a few years. Looks like the trail is in decent shape. There was more litter than I remember from previous trips and it was quite busy, but it was nice out. Poison Ivy everywhere and if you venture down by the creek it is quite muddy (all my kids slipped and fell in the mud at some point!) The dog loved it as she could get into the water frequently. I just wish more dog owners picked up after their pets and people would take their litter with them. The stairs were tricky to navigate with my 3 little ones with me, but we managed.

We took the southeast trail along many rapidly flowing rapids. It was nicely shaded on a warm day and passes through a ravine, following the winding creek with many overlooks to stop and enjoy the view. Remnants of mills from days gone by beckon further research. Although we have had much rain of late, the trail only had sporadic spots requiring acrobatics to negotiate. We will return again, soon.

Good family trail, clean, pretty walk along the creek. However, there is LOTS of poison ivy along the trail. Watch out!!

Very beautiful trail! We took our 10lbs dog, she had a blast. There are waterfalls and a creek runs the whole way. It has bridges and some old steps, we say a blue jay, crane and a robin along the trail. We only did half of it but we will do it again.

This trail is beautiful! Its all along the water and it has some roots along the trail so be careful when your walking. Dogs are allowed but not everyone cleans up after them. If everyone could take a bag or 2 with them and clean up after your dog it would be so much better! This is a beautiful walk, beautiful scenery and so many places to explore! Can't wait to go back!

Great trail all along the water. Not very busy at all, saw about 5 people and a couple fishermen in the water along the way. Trail was muddy and the bridges were pretty slippery, but overall an easy hike. The trail does come to a sudden end as others have also said.

The trail was pretty icy today but it’s melting slowly but surely. The information says dogs welcome but not dogs on leash so I thought this would be an off leash park but it’s not. It’s still a really cute hike with a river flowing through that the dogs can play in. The trail was visible but some of the bridges are a little sketchy. Overall I’d definitely come back

Nice easy hike! Nice views. There is one area that is a bit tricky if you have limited mobility, as it is a staircase that is not well taken care of but it is short. Did spot some poison ivy along the side so be cautious.

Trail let’s you hike out of the noise in the rest of the park. My dog loves going in and out of the creek!

Decent trail. some of the bridges could use some attention. It was muddy the day I visited but it was still a pleasant walk. I would visit again.

I started in the parking lot behind Panorama Plaza and the trail is not that pretty (behind businesses and an apartment complex) until after the 441 bridge, which is where Linear Park/Channing Philbrick Park is. The trail is well marked and has red blazes while inside the park. This trail is busy! It was very cold and drizzling and I saw at least 10 people. This would be good stroll with kids but I prefer less foot traffic. The trail just ends randomly (see picture). I would recommend starting at the park, not at the plaza like I did.

Good shade, not too tough. Bring a fishing pole!

Great trail took my 5, 7 and 13 year old kids. They did it easy.

The main trail is alright and the water is pretty, but the side trails are full of graffiti spray painted on trees and garbage on the ground. Also, if you bring a dog, be careful as there is broken glass in many places on both trails.

Trail was nice with the waterfalls but we were disappointed that it just stopped. I would have rated it a "5" if it circled back.

The path seems to disappear at times. Some steep areas, so make sure you have hiking sneakers.
