Beautiful fall hike. Might incorporate a stop at the winery next time.

Kayaking is so fun here. Absolutely beautiful scenery ruined only by the obtrusive loud music blaring from the winery across the street on the weekends. Not sure why we all have to be subjected to a rock concert on a nature preserve. Otherwise beautiful to see the leaves start to change.

Came to this trail to run and had to leave within 10 minutes because it was so overgrown and had LOTS of bugs.

Overall nice trail. LOTS of bugs. Use bugspray. Muddy in places and some areas are not flat but overall easy trail to navigate.

Unseasonably warm day so we headed out for a quick hike/walk and a wine at the winery. We'll, the winery is closed until April 22 unfortunately. This is an easy trail but know that in parts there are partially sunken railroad ties and roots that cross through it. Still mucky mud in a few places but still pretty and peaceful.

Unfortunately the trail was flooded out more than I was prepared to attempt to ride thru. It is a wetland area, so there was often water on both sides of the trail and sometimes on the trail itself. It's pretty flat, so that's not a challenge, but there was a really bumpy section for which I was grateful to have full suspension. It's a beautiful place much more fitting for a kayak or canoe or a casual stroll.

Nice views took my 10 year old son on a bike ride some of the man made wood walk paths are hard to ride and missing some planks in a lot of places but over all it was fun and peaceful lots Of thorn bushes so make sure you wear long pants

Really unusual, serene, beautiful wetlands. There are a few places to put a kayak or canoe in, but don't be dissuaded by the heavy plant growth in the water. It can slow you down a bit, but there are plenty of clear areas as well. In general, the waterways are narrow and windy, and the views are lovely. Bring a camera and binoculars, as there is much wildlife to be seen. If you're looking for something a bit different from navigating a lake or river, this is definitely worth a try. Great place, and please remember not to litter. Safe trip!

A peaceful place to kayak. It's so quiet we could actually hear the wing beat of a blue heron as it took off. The channel of water meanders slowly thru lush vegetation all around you.... A really unique environment.

horseback riding

We horseback ride there all the time. It is a great linear trail that is about 8+ mile loop. And a nice stop at the Basha Kill Winery for lunch & a glass of wine!

I kayak, hike, and horseback ride here. It's an amazing place. I do an 8.7 mile loop but there are a bunch of options. A hidden treasure. Lots of birds and wildlife.
