Very fun scenic hike with dogs welcome on leash, very historic awesome photo opportunities of historical ruins and beautiful view of Pecos National Forest.

Wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually pretty cool! Little archeology fun.

Our family absolutely loved this trail. Seeing the remains of the church that has been there for almost 400 years as well as being able to climb down into a few kiva's. kids will enjoy this just as much as us older folks. Away from the trail, IF you have a NPS passport this is a great stop for passport stamps. I think they have 4 stamps assigned to this location (Pecos Stamp, Santa Fe Trail Stamp, Route 66 stamp, and I can't remember the final one)

Wonderful trail with a wonderful history. The story of the revolt from the pueblo against Spain is fascinating.

Not too scenic since it's mostly in the pinyon juniper woods. Highway noise is heard along the whole trail. There are some information signs along the trail, but it would probably be better to get the guidebook from the park visitor center. Remember that you need to get the gate code from the park visitor center. I called their main phone number and got it, so you don't necessarily have to go in person.

A little bit of the trails as closed for repairs. Nice trail with the ruins

This was a beautiful trail with a lot of history to learn. My kiddos love it and loved being able to step back in time and see how one of the oldest church was built. They enjoyed walking through the ruins. I would recommend this trail for anyone with children who love history.
