Loved it!

Absolutely worth every step! Every turn revealed a scene even more beautiful than what I had just seen. Such stunning and unique views.

Easy at the beginning and moderately challenging once you get towards the peak as there is a bit of a steep climb.

Note: no cell service at the trail head but got it back at the peak.

Beautiful geology. Unlike anything else - even Bryce Canyon Utah.

The hiking is great, every turn you make is worth continuing the hike to the top. Once at the top, the view is amazing.

Easy as beans, and pretty pretty.

I would recommend going to Bandelier over tent rocks, but still really amazing hike.

relatively easy hike. some small boulders to step into but otherwise not an onerous ordeal. not an "easy" trail due to some inclines and having to manuever over some boulders. very interesting slot canyon and cool views of Ski Santa Fe, Mt Baldy and Taos Ski area.

Incredible hike, beautiful slot canyons, amazing view from the top on a clear day! I highly recommend going during the week when kids are in school. I went on a Thursday afternoon and came across maybe a dozen other hikers total. Round trip, including the loop trail, was about 4 miles total. I was able to hike it in just under 2 hours, stopping to take a few pictures along the way and pausing for about 15-20 minutes at the top to take in the breathtaking 360° view. FYI - dogs are not allowed ($250 fine). Take note of the hours - during wintertime, the park rangers start sending people down around 3:15-3:30 pm from the peak. It was a pretty easy hike up until you reach the peak, which was moderately difficult with a steep incline and lots of large steps. I found myself scaling some of the rocks on my hands and knees (I'm only 5'3"). The loop trail was extremely easy but offered some interesting sights and beautiful scenery. If you get the chance to go, I highly recommend doing it!!

Fun, varied trail that takes you through a stunning and unique slot canyon. It took us an hour to get to the top and back and we were going at a fairly slow pace. Would not recommend for those with mobility issues as there are several rock scrambles and tight spaces to crawl through.
Definitely a must see if you're in northern New Mexico!

Short and a lighter hike.

Beautiful canyon walls, skinny passages. The top was spectacular views. We went at 9:00 and were first few up. By the time we got to the top and headed down it was like a big traffic jam. Cars were lined up for 1/2 mile waiting to get in. It’s a popular trail for good reasons.

Nice , started as they opened 9 am Wintertime. No people on the way up, a few heading down. Some narrow passageway and giving a Vertical challenged person ahead of me up a boost a few times. Kept a reasonable pace up and down as I had a goal to do Bandalier National Monument as well, and did.

A must see if you happen to be driving through New Mexico. Pretty empty during the winter months but can be cold.

Can be crowded in the summer months but well worth it

Started up the slot canyon trail and made it though the slot canyon. Got stuck behind a large group of about 12 who unfortunately did not have trail etiquette and it was impossible to get past them. They stopped every few minutes to take a multitude of photos. I decided to turn around and headed back and complete the cave loop trail. This is a very awesome monument and worth the visit while on a work trip to Albuquerque.

Absolutely beautiful

Lots of fun! Keep in mind the park closes at 5 during the winter and a park ranger will walk you down around 4 even if you have not finished the hike, which was a bummer. But! Still beautiful and worthwhile.

Really cool hike with slot canyons and great views! Took about an hour and half to do entire hike.
