Very nice trail system with many views of the Maurice River. saw several deer, a bald eagle, and many small birds. Well used. Mountain bike trails also here but kept separate from hiking trails. very nice work Nature Conservancy!

A real gem in southern New Jersey!

This is me and my son’s favorite local spot. It’s marked well and there are nice surprises on each trail. It’s an easy hike that does offer a slight challenge. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place excellent trails well marked can spend a whole day there if you wanted too. Highly recommend for all level hikers.

Beautiful scenery and clearly marked trails. Bikes and walkers get separate trails which is pretty nice!

Great spot. Decent amount of hills for South Jersey but not too challenging. Nice views of the water and interesting wildlife along trails. One part of the trail is closed from January until August (I believe) due to endangered birds mating in the area.

Beautiful spot! We've only done the small south section but plan on going back to do the rest. Trails are pretty well marked and clean. Lots of ups and downs so you'll get a workout. Nice walk along the river and beach access at the dock area. Look for the wild rice growing in the river across from the dock and in other places.

I only did the 1-mile loop, but it’s SUCH a nice trail! I loved feeling really in the middle of nowhere!

We took our dog there. Great hiking experience.

Fantastic scenery along the historic Maurice River. Not a challenging trail for those that are in even a little bit of shape. But this trail system brings you into nature. You will see many birds, snakes(if your looking for them), ruins from past times and meet a few pleasant people enjoying the out doors. Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5, is it would be nice to have bathroom facilities for women.

I probably hike this place 5-15 times in the fall and spring. It’s a great way to spend the whole day. A handful of hidden little locations too.

Recent storms have made the trails messy with fallen trees, but they’ll soon be cleared we’d think; this place is well cared for. Nice trail system, well marked.

Very well kept trails, steps are a godsend in places. Terrain is moderate hilly especially for south Jersey

I am generally very active and in good shape so I found this trail easy. There are varied elevations and scenic views of lake and marsh areas. I took a picture of a tiny turtle. He was so cute lol.

Love this place. Such a great place to get an awesome workout done. Was bored with walking around the neighborhood so I decided to take up hiking again after a 10+ yrs hiatus. A++++

Very nice, easy to navigate

This loop encompasses the Red, Yellow, and White trails. This trail has lots of elevation gain and drop. It follows along the Maurice River where you can see the Ospreys and other birds nesting. Very nicely maintained trail by the Nature Conservancy who also have many others in New Jersey. There is also a Blue trail which is closed during nesting season and a Yellow Trail.
