Great trail for the whole family and dog friendly. Some moderate terrain to keep it interesting. Great scenery!

Very nice trails, views & fellow hikers.

Only did a small section to start. Beautiful, relatively quiet. looking forward to going back. Will bring my walking poles next time.

best trails in the area. we did an 8 mile hike today. nothing to changing but good exercise

Half paved, half woods. With a touch of history.

Love it. Lots of choices, all abilities, Beautiful, serene. Dog and bike friendly.

This trail hike, I will definitely recommend . We Started out with great weather 70 degree weather in November... Came upon some wildlife animals, Small creeks the River and more.
The only downfall is The trail Direction is not marked out clear enough...Needs improvemet

This was a beautiful, secluded and reasonably challenging hike. Parts were quite narrow with heavy vegetation growth. There were some fairly steep elevation changes but nothing that required climbing. The trail was well maintained. I don't mountain bike - but this looked like a blast. I may take up a new activity! I hiked down Rocky Point Loop but ran only had a limited amount of time and had to return on Battery Loop (which is a paved road... very nice, to have the option).

It's an ok trail for hiking, great for mountain biking.

Saw some deer and some nice big trees. Pretty nice combinations of trails to be made here for trail runs

Pretty well-shaded for the most part. Wide easy trails.

Nice wide trails on a big loop. Not much for scenery, but it's a fun trail run

Be sure to get the trail map for this one. It'll make it a lot easier to figure out

Nice little hike. The signage in the eastern part of the park could use a little work. Cuesta ridge trail is a bit tough to find from this end

All the trails here are pretty nice for a little bit of exercise. Not terribly crowded on the weekdays

very nice for a trail run. not much scenery though

Multiple trails. Lots of options.

Really super nice trail. Maybe a little ambitious for a newbie like me, but well worth the effort. Someone mentioned a lot of sun. That was not my experience. There were small pockets, but even without sunscreen totally manageable. Really lovely views of the water from the trail.

Quick easy hike to do after spending the day at Sandy Hook, with some history involved which is always appreciated. River is nice and there is swimming beach by the boardwalk which looked clean but there were a few roudy party boats close to the boardwalk when I hiked it on a Saturday so might not always be secluded

Easy walk in the woods. Not much in terms of views. Big trees were nice though.

Nice easy walk thru the woods. Be sure to pick up a trail map at the trailhead to make navigation easier.

Nice wide trail, some big trees, decently well-marked. Not much in views, but it's nice

Easy pleasant trail with some views of the river. Trail is wide enough to avoid brushing up against poison ivy or tick-covered plants.

Nice easy trail. Weather was cool when I went which made it much more pleasant. Some partial views of the river and some explanatory panels about the bunkers. Saw a couple deer. Rocky Point trail was wide enough that I didn't need to brush up against vegetation much at all, which helps avoid ticks and poison ivy.

good hike!

Gorgeous views of the ocean! Make sure to wear sunscreen if you do this hike though; a lot of it isn’t covered by shade

trail with a view.

Dries really fast! Great, never crowded, and trails are easily marked.
