Explore the most popular trails in Estell Manor Park with hand-curated trail maps and driving directions as well as detailed reviews and photos from hikers, campers and nature lovers like you.

You won't find the Bethlehem Loading Company ruins on this trail; however, it still has a lot to offer in terms of scenery. We had a great time navigating this windy, albeit clearly-marked, trail for about 2 hours. Kept stopping for bug checks (to be expected). Bring your bug spray! Lots of ticks and spiders.

Great walk. Deer flies are always bad this time of year.

I live right near this park so I’ve been here a bazillion times. The park itself is separate from this trail loop you’re seeing on the app and this loop is frequented by horseback riders so it’s great if you’re looking for a place to ride that’s quite. I love it at the park in general but I’ll be honest-not a whole lot worth looking at on this loop a ruin or two but that’s about it. I’d recommend taking the trails to the right instead where you’ll have wide open paths (wide enough for vehicles) linking many of the old Bethlehem Loading Co. ruins and you can access the boardwalk that runs along the river and ultimately into the heart of the park. As another had mentioned when the boardwalk is wet it can be very slippery. None of these trails are what I would consider hiking trails but rather “a walk in the park”, and it’s great for that. Safe place to take the kids, you really can’t get lost, enjoy likely solitude and get a little history lesson along the way. The park itself has many trails, two playgrounds, pavilions, dock, nature center and more. You can borrow bicycles at the nature center and ride the paved roadway that’s about 2 miles long or any of the many trails.

very nice to walk

I use this park on a weekly basis. Perfect to bring my dog too. Center Trail is my favorite through the marshes. Super safe and great place for families. There are also play grounds and fitness trails with outdoor work out equipments.

All I got to say is that you mine as well walk out of the car and take a picture at the trail head cause there ain’t no scenery changes. Kept walking thinkin I’d find a dope guy view but all I was left with was a little river full of duty splat. Don’t waste your time walking through these woods walk through the wailing woods instead and run it up. This trail is the worst in sj by far you’ll never catch me back...and whoever placed the trail markers needs to be fired, felt like I was walking through a corn maze smh

Love all the different trails here. On a day after rain the boardwalks are slippery so be careful. Great geocaching in the area too. Highly recommended!

I grew up in this area my entire life... this is a great little treasure that everyone in the area should experience!

Very flat trails. Not all are well marked. The trial map does not give the distances for the trails making it a guessing game as to how far you will hike. The boardwalks are cool and the nature center is one of the better we have been to. There are bicycles you can borrow but bring your own helmet- adult and kids bikes available.

Lots of trails! Great scenery! Even a wooden boardwalk that takes you along the river. I also enjoy the old historical buildings along the trails with educational info about the area! One of my favorite areas to walk!

I walk about 30 miles a month at this park. There are so many trails and paths to explore. I have 2 rat terriers that love their 2-4 mile walks each day. It's about 25 mins from my house and well worth the drive!

Just completed this trail today with my pups. Beautiful path, well marked and trails loop thru each other so you can choose if you want to change trails. We saw a couple of deer and they also have a fitness trail with workout areas.

This trail is in the north end of the park, and is more then 5 miles long. I know this because I help build it. It's a little bit challenging, but a lot of fun. ENJOY IT.
