Nice flat trail for hiking or running with the pup. Nice view of the creek for part of the hike. No vistas or overlooks:(

A nice jaunt on a relatively undeveloped trail. Rocks, ruts and roots in places make it a definite mountain bike/hybrid place. Gorgeous little creek and wetlands. Old decaying train station at the Pittstown end and a fascinating history placard remembering when the area was a big peach and basket producing area, which brought the train. The best part was that you can link up with the Landsdown/Clinton Nature Trail which is a manicured, gravel trail through lush wetlands, depositing you in old Clinton. A few miles up the road in High Bridge you can connect with the spectacular Columbia Trail, a gorgeously developed 7 mile trail following the stunning gorge made by the South Branch of the Raritan River. These three trails together, out and back, give you a lovely 30 mile ride, mostly flat, except for a short steep climb along the streets of High Bridge.

Probably a "biased" review since I grew up with this trail in my backyard, but it's very peaceful, essentially completely flat, and follows the creek.

Nice and flatish. More flat between pittstown and Clinton. South of Sidney road the trail is more like a bike trail or horse trail. Be careful if running. Rocky, slippery in the fall.
