Needs work on some parts but overall great ride and scenic. Avoid after rains for sure.

This is actually a terrible trail, not sure what others see that I didn't. Poorly marked and maintained (some of the trail is actually maybe a foot wide!). It's nice for maybe the first mile-mile and a half then it runs along a very busy/loud road. When you get to about mile 3.5 it essentially spits you out in a residential street area lol. Who wants that? So you backtrack the way you came. I would not recommend this trail to anyone, but in the early part of the trail there is one or two hiking trails that are easy and nice to do (Iron Mine trail (Blue markers).

Decent trail, could use better markings at trail intersections, spent a lot of time backtracking and looking for trail markings. Not much as far as sights to see, unless I missed something while studying the app on my phone to find my way!

Solid hike - worked counterclockwise with big uphill climb to start off of Yellow trail...and merged with Yellow/white on decent. Deep woods and only saw a few mountain bikers. Not much of a payoff at apex, but nice and quiet. Bugs definitely enjoy your presence, so come prepared. Well marked with only mild trepidation at merge points.

A challenging trail, loved it! This starts out as the white trail, off to the left at the beginning of the Sussex Branch trail (at Waterloo Road). Then it turns in to the white/yellow combo trail for about a mile. At that point the trail splits in to white and yellow; Pebble Loop follows yellow. Where the trail splits you'll want to take a hard left to follow yellow. Be careful on the downhills, lots of loose rocks. Bring bug spray. The uphills are UP, it's gradual in some spots and sharp in others. Watch coming down, you can get some good momentum going and lose your footing very easily. Looking forward to doing this trail in the fall when the leaves change color.

Fun trail. AllTrails recording differs some places from blazed trail. Also, road to first parking lot (not just second) is in very poor condition with large craters.

A lot of what you’ve already read is true... Do you sometimes hear gunshots yes no big deal, it’s not active shooter situation just responsible gun owners enjoying their hobby safety like everyone else... Some trails completely washed out and very poorly marked but makes the hike more interesting. You will need your gps or know how to use a map and compass or you could easily find yourself on something you think is a trail and it’s not or leads to nothing... Main trail is very active, clearly marked and safe for kids but once you leave the beating path be smart and be prepared your in no mans land... Bug repellent is a must!

Wide, simple, easy trail with great wildflowers. We were the only people on it, and aside from a few short stretches on the road, it was quiet and relaxing. Most of the trail is elevated above the wetlands around it, so it was perfectly dry all the way

I would have appreciated a few more trail blazes, particularly where the trails intersect. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out where I was. Definitely bring bug repellant. The trail was a little muddy at some points due to the storm the day before, but not too bad. I took a detour on the Highland Trail (teal) to get to the lookout, which was amazing. A good local hike with an awesome view.

I would definitely rate this as moderate and not easy.. there’s elevation changes galore and paths are narrow through dense brush. Would have maybe gotten a 4 but the recent rains made many trails muddy and a ton of bugs. Definitely bring repellent. The app helps because trails are not well marked especially at junctions.
