Beautiful trail, probably gorgeous in the fall. Gets real muddy, so watch out after a rain, it'll be a squishy hike. Gets better as you go uphill. The yellow loop around (south side main loop only) took us a couple hours with slow going due to mud and parts where the trails were really poorly marked so had to double back a couple times. Map helps but like other folks mentioned some of the markers on the map are a bit off. Lots of doggoes!

It's definitely not moderate. This trail is an easy hike or bike. Nothing difficult other than a lot of roots. Nice scenery, couldn't hear traffic, not too many people. Nice walk.

This was a nice long walk. The hills can be a challenge but worth it in the end.

Very nice place to take a walk. Even though it states "dogs must be leashed", there were looses dogs and inconsiderate dog owners. I guess the rules only apply to some people.

I walk my two dogs almost every day and I love this place. They are off leash (like most every dog we see) and I am sure they consider this park the equivalent of heaven for dogs. Depending on what trailhead you choose you may run into more people/dogs, but never over crowded. Highly recommend it.

minutes from my house and my dog Elvis and I go almost daily. Endless trails, not many people. Bugs can get bad in areas but worth it!

Great hike. Maps posted to help. Some confusion with the cross trails but stayed on the perimeter trail primarily. Biggest issue were the mosquitoes! Everywhere! I could not stop walking or risk the onslaught. Had to keep moving!

Was decent hike for a fat guy. I was winded. Climbed the fire tire and use the pull up bar and stepping stones. Got eaten alive by misquotes that was the only downside.

The trail as shown covers only a section of the site's trails. The Open Street Map (OSM) shows all trails as well as the "Rescue point" markers. It's a good idea to have a phone or GPS because the trails are not always well marked. The park offers a trail map but it's not 100% accurate. Still it's a great network of trails with variety (woods, clear fields, and much evidence of former agricultural use: many many stone walls).

Clearly marked trails and considerate dog owners make this our new favorite place to hike!

So beautiful and trails are wonderful but I wish the trails were marked better. I was trying to follow the yellow perimeter trail and so many times went off course and had to backtrack before losing it completely the last mile and a half or so. Beautiful place to get lost, but there are so many little trails that I never had a truly “lost in the woods” feeling.

Love it here & parking is great

nice trail. interesting tidbit. all along the trail are marked sites with latitude and longitude for rescue. This, I assume is because their are a lot of bikers and if injured they can notify 911 better.

Learn the yellow outer loop (marked) trail first. Then there are so many miles of super fun interior trails (not so well marked). Love running here.

what an awesome place in the city! would be 5 stars if the trails were marked. take a pic of the map, you'll need it. too many little spurs, you could spend the entire day lost in this little park. super place for dog owners.

Nice walk for most skill levels. Some pretty cool views of the beavers in action. Lots of off-shoots so that you can have plenty of variety. Maps are hard to come by and I didn't find the trails very easy to follow - so, be mindful of that. Plenty of parking. And A LOT of people.

Easy hike. About a fifteen minute hike up to the top along a well maintained, and wide trail. The summit is open and grass covered. There is also a nice lookout tower with excellent views of the region. Simple hike; little effort and big reward.
