I went twice this summer-Had a good time even though I didn’t have the proper shoes the second time after we had a lot of rain.. we did white and blue (easier trails). The rocks on the trail bring a bit of a challenge because I felt myself continuously looking down so I didn’t trip. I have not attempted the more difficult trail but what we did was very manageable. It was not crowded and certainly offers the peacefulness one seeks when hiking.

If anyone is looking for an easy brisk walk than this would be the place. No serious inclines or rocks to hurdle over. Great place to walk your dog or come with little one. I enjoy coming here to do a quick jog, it’s peaceful and no heavy traffic.
Only 3 stars just because I’m more of a moderate to hard trailer myself. So even though it’s on a 3 star to me, it may be a 4-5 to you.

Only giving this four stars for now, I had to turn around half way because I was eaten alive by bugs. Wear a LOT of bug repellent for this trail!!!! Also a lot of rock and roots so proper foot wear is a must as well. Very easy nature walk though besides that with little to no incline and very quiet and peaceful. I'll be back to finish it soon.

It was beautiful. The trails were very icy in places. I'd recommend wearing spikes, especially if you are going out to the ravine trail. The trails are very well marked in most places and easy to follow. We went two days in a row and saw almost no one. Once we got to the ravine trail, we saw no one the entire time. That could be due to the icy conditions, though. Giving a 5 for scenery alone. Looking for to hitting the trails once the ice is gone and we can naviagate the trails at a faster pace.

If the trail wasn’t marked so well, it would be easy to get lost. The trail itself is just walking through woods. Tree trunks and rocks everywhere. Trail markers are everywhere so you don’t get lost. I took the white trail to the orange trail then back again. I only saw a handful of people and they all had dogs and only one of those dogs were on a leash.

Other than the amount of mosquitos & bugs (probably due to us getting there at 4pm), it was a great walk! We saw lots of different trees, plants, multi-colored mushrooms, frogs & slugs. Had a great time!

First time coming here with a 14week puppy. Great trails, beautiful rock formations. Too bad the drought dried the water up.

What a great hike! We followed the white trails to the saw mill sight. About 2 miles round trip. Really enjoyed the variety of scenery and birds. Had the place to ourselves this morning. Highly recommend. I would call this a "moderate" hike. Trails are very clearly marked. Will go again.

Excellent trails from easy to difficult. Well maintained and labeled. Great areas to sit and enjoy a pipe while taking in the surroundings. Check out the moderate orange trail...big payoff in the pulpit! Some Geocache in there as well! Didn't find all of them but had a great Hike & Pipe anyway!

absolutely beautiful.

With a 3 year old in tow, this trail is definitely on the high end of the "easy" rating. But he had a blast jumping off the many rock tops and roots while we looked for the next (well-placed & frequent) markers. There are a few small inclines & declines along the first half mile heading south, as well as some fine-for-adults-but-hard-for-small-kids marshy crossings. Mostly it's just beautiful in the woodsy canopy, with a few relaxing little surprises along the way.
