Nice hike but all the leafs made it a little trick in the rocky terrain. I missed my poles as it was pretty slippery.

Great trail - really really slick coming down the rock side after a rain storm. But it wasn’t terrible, did it with a new puppy and some old vans slip-ons so I probably should have had shoes with a better grip. It was a little humid from all the moisture but it was beautiful to see the overlook at the top of the loop. Would love to do it again, some parts were steep to climb.

This trail is a perfect afternoon get away. Although it's only just over 2 miles, it is a true moderate trail. There is just enough elevation climb, scramble over rock and roots, and incredible views to be more than satisfying! (walk just off trail to the right about mid way thru, for some great views of the country side) Also, the castle ruins are wonderful!

Great hike to view fall foliage. Very rocky you will need good boots/hiking shoes.

What a beautiful hike. The foliage was perfect, would highly recommend. Not buggy at all, which was nice.

Very nice!! Some patches of mud on the lower portion, but nothing severe. It was easily avoided. Moon Ledge is a great lookout, especially right now (early October)

Amazing trail, but on the moderate side of difficulty. I usually envision kids and elderly when I think easy and granted our 4 year old did make it, but it required way more encouragement and supervision than easy trails have elsewhere. I’d rate this a solid moderate, but amazing hike.

A nice wooded trail that has a nice small rocky ledge overlook. Can be muddy in the lower sections at the beginning of the hike. Good for dogs (never had an issue). Go counter-clockwise if you want to hit the view/overlook first. Clockwise is you prefer a view towards the end.

Nice trail. Clearly marked. A few decent views. Moderate is a stretch as we found it more on the Easy side. Bugs at the bottom, but not biting and we assume it was due to the proximity of the ponds.

Really enjoyed this trail, the castle remains were really great. Just as a note if you do the castle first, go back to where you started to do the Ann Stokes loop, we followed a clear path up the mountain from the ruins and could never find where it connected.

Great trail! Loved the ruins, enjoyable loop trail in excellent condition. Recommend this trail for anyone looking for a beautiful walk with some heavy uphills, light rocks and a few great views.

Awesome trail for all ages. Very well maintained!!! The ruins were a great little addition. Beautiful view from the summit. Don’t pass up on this trail

Love it! Easy with a nice view on top of Daniel's Mountain. Started with a bisit to Madame Sherri old place.

Nice trail, a little overgrown and rocky but nothing too bad. Nice view!

This was a great trail. It was just right for the kids (6 and 8). It is very narrow at times, but that made it fun.

What an amazing spot! We came here for the fourth of July and barely anyone else was around. We did the Ann Stokes loop to Indian pond and had a lovely time swimming! Definitely recommend for a day adventure, but could also be accomplished in an afternoon
