An easy trail for the payoff of an insanely beautiful 360 view

This is a popular weekend hike so expect to see a lot of hikers and dogs. Trails are well maintained. This is a fairly quick hike with a great 360 view. I liked it.

Would highly recommend Holt to Clark for the ascent, especially if starting in the dark (as I did). While the trail is rated as moderate, I would say some parts are easy and others difficult. This time of year, it is very slippery with the fallen leaves. Trails are well marked from summit down Manning, but can be more tricky ascending Holt and Clark (especially in dark). Amazing views. Harsh weather at summit. Need winter layers now.

Great trail! A little wet so you need to watch your footing. Would definitely recommend doing the loop counter-clockwise due to steepness (more steep going up rather than balancing on the way down). Took our time and enjoyed the views. You can see for miles today!!

South side trail is super steep and washed out coming down. Recommend if doing the loop to go up that way.

Great trail, very beautiful right now. It was cold and windy at the top (wish i had brought gloves). Definitely parts where you had to scramble a bit, but overall pretty moderate hike. Dog friendly too!

really easy, quick hike with a bit of a challenge near the top! super windy and cold so bring layers! did it with my 11 month old husky puppy and she did great :)

Picture perfect day. My 4 year old and I hiked counterclockwise (thanks to a review recommendation) and I'm so glad we did. Coming down the reverse way would have been much more challenging for her little legs. The views from each summit was phenomenal. Highly recommend this trail!

Nice hike, moderate difficulty. Fairly heavily trafficked during weekends.

Caught peak foliage today! Definitely go up Manning and down Clark. Not difficult trail except for some steep boulders to scramble close to top. Would only hike this on a very dry day. Amazing foliage view all around. I took my sweet time (about 4 hr) as I was soaking up the colors, admiring every view point. Even the wooded trials were covered with beautiful fall leaves. Definitely will revisit next year around peak foliage. Lovely lodge at trail head with EV charging station and solar panels!

Nice hike with rocky top and beautiful views. Interesting at the top, with tower and usually windy. Great for families, even with smaller children.

Great hike! Beautiful day. Windy and cool at the top. Kids (5&7) did fairly well though we didn't quite make it to the fire tower as they were bothered by the wind.

nice loop.

Great trail that has a beautiful summit.

This is probably one of my favorite hikes! Not super long, steep in spots, pretty well marked, gorgeous view from the top. It can be a bit muddy and slippery if there's been recent rain. Keep in mind the wind factor at the top can be completely different from the parking lot since there's no tree coverage.
