Unreal. It’s like you’re on a different planet with the multiple colors of sandstone crashing on one another. The hike to the wave is very easy and hardly any elevation. Just make sure you bring plenty of water and id recommend going early in the morning or late in the evening because it gets hooooot there. Only 40 miles north east of vegas so if you’re in town you can make it a quick day trip. Definitely worth it! They have a nice visitor center and they have campgrounds but you can honestly knock out the whole park in less than a day.

Really awesome short trail that takes you to unique formations. Nice way to get a taste of what the wave trail is like without the lottery. Be advised: no shade, bring LOTS of drinking water. Would love to return to spend more time when not so hot.

Hiked this around March and it was the perfect weather. Gorgeous colors and striations. I highly recommend this hike as a time-out from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.

I loved this trail. The fire wave is beautiful, don’t miss out on this! I hiked it in March when the temperature was about 68 degrees, and I still got pretty overheated. I would not recommend doing this trail when it’s very hot, it could become dangerous very quickly.

Trail with neat views of the fire wave, 7 wonders, narrows, and interesting landscapes and rock formations. Markers only at the fire wave, so it's good to have All trails open to stay on course. Will come again with friends.

This place is super cool. We did a 4-mile loop that was absolutely beautiful but it was incredibly hot. I would like to go back when it's cooler. bring a hat, sunscreen & plenty of water. Worth the trip if you're in Vegas and want to get some hiking in.

Loved this. Went in the evening, at sunset. Hot but doable. Amazing shades of pink, red, and white in the canyon faces.

Nice trail. Don't miss this.. It has beautiful scenery and is fun and easy to walk. Was there during cooler weather (78°) so it was easy to deal with heat-wise.

Great easy trail with a variety of things to see. Super cool starting at the bathrooms and walking down past the movie set remains. Great views. Then you go into a slot canyon and come out and see a variety of colored rock formations. Lots of great, unique geologic features in one short trail. More greenery and things to look at than fire wave. Really enjoyable.

Nice desert trail with a lot of scenery changes. I’d recommend this if you’re going between Vegas and Utah. Good bouldering opportunities.

A great short hike, though needed the AllTrails app for the return as no guide or cairns thru seven wonders. GPS required as rain had washed out the prior trail markers (footprints) Still a great hike with awesome views.

Missed left hand turn at the half way mark. 1.5 miles extra walking.

very easy path, which leads to an intriguing and ultra-photogenic rock formation

superb little hike, quite easy and with varied landscapes a must of the park

Awesome hike. You see different views on each leg of the hike. You need gps to avoid getting confused or lost. we cut back from white domes back to the parking lot. It gets hot so wear protection and bring enough water.
