Simply sandy walk, perfect end to the day

That was the perfect trail. Maybe because of the shutdown but there were even sections where you barely see people. There was a spot on the white dunes trail and the seven wonders trail that had some small scrambles so recommend being very mobile for this but moderate is an accurate rating.

Slightly boring for the first bit. It does get more scenic and fun about two miles in though. You just follow the wash so the terrain is very sandy and a bit difficult to walk in. Right now the wash is almost dried up with the exception of some small puddles filled with tadpoles. No crowds! I didn’t pass a single other person. Almost zero shade tho so guessing this one isn’t too good for any time past April.

You pretty much walk through sand the whole trail.

Nice walk with great views of the surrounding rock formations. Wear high top hiking shoes to keep the sand at bay. It was very much like walking a sandy beach for five miles. Be sure to get off trail a little and explore the rocks.....they are amazing.

Beyond amazing & other worldly. Can’t recommend this trail enough...if you don’t think it’s a 5 star trail...you must be blind.

It's a easy short hike, so take your time and enjoy it. The hardest part was the sand in the beginning, after that it's easy all the way. Everything about the hike is beautiful, but my favorite part was the slot canyon. Best time to go would be late in the afternoon, the rocks will provide you shade. Here is a video of the hike: https://youtu.be/UWkxA2cz8PU

Bring cash for self pay station $10.00 We were very excited that the valley of Fire trails opened back up. No body must know as we were the ONLY ones there, so stunning.

Stunningly beautiful, by far one of the best views I've seen for such an easy hike. It started out beautiful and it only got more impressive as it went. Fire wave and the seven wonders were the most impressive, although white domes were still pretty cool.

This trail was so beautiful. Take your time as you will want to stop throughout and take pictures and marvel at the beauty of the park. This trail is very beautiful. While the trail isn’t hard or long, you will break a sweat going through the sand.

This is a cool trail that is somewhat shaded. You will see many petroglyphs and lizards along the way! Pretty easy but definitely beautiful.

Another nice, short & easy hike near the entrance of the park, with beautiful previews of what is yet to come on your journey through Valley of Fire!!

This trail is arguably the best one at Valley of Fire. It is a loop trail. Best done in a clockwise direction (essentially at the trailhead signs). Trail itself is very well marked. Hiking clockwise means you will scramble a bit going down, but no scrambling on the return loop. Essentially an easy hike. At the bottom are the remnants of a Hollywood Movie set. There is a marker telling the story along with info on the film made there back in the 1960's. Following the movie set remnants, is a short walk through a sandstone wash followed by a nice slot canyon. Beautiful vistas all along the way both before and after the slot. The walk out from the bottom is very easy, featuring more beautiful vistas and rock formations. Do not forget your camera on this one!!!

Very nice & picturesque trail leading back to Mouses Tank. Many petroglyphs along the way. Bring binoculars or telephoto lens for camera so they can be viewed close up. Also saw several Bighorns just a short distance from the trailhead.

Loved this hike despite the heat. Once you were in between the rocks the air was much more bare able.

Beautiful and pleasant hike. Minor scramble section, otherwise in and out of wash and hard-packed trail. Incredible views and didn’t see anyone else on the trail.

I’m pretty sure I took the boring, less traveled trail that goes under the road through a tunnel and take you on the other side. Easy look. Pretty view but wanna see more on the other side of the trail with slots and pretty red rock.

Very beautiful views. By GPS I tracked exactly 10 miles.Trail can be kind of hard to follow (it’s not maintained) . Couple of places the require a little Finesse to get over some boulders. Saw some big horned sheep in the early AM.
