Nice short trail, lots of trees and shade. Occasional creeks with running water.

One of my favorite trails. Beautiful sites to see and a wonderful summit.

Amazing trail! Very steep but the views are worth it. The clouds moved in about halfway up unfortunately and while it was fun to hold in the clouds, the view from the top was just grey in every direction. I'll definitely be coming back in the Spring!

Awsome view! Great hike!

Great, easy trail! Short but very nice and scenic. I was able to get to both mines without any problem. February 11th, 2018.

This hike is more than 6.3 miles when you stay on the marked trail. TONS of switchbacks. I tried to go the mapped trail on this app coming down and it was a bad idea for myself. It was along the ridge and some spots you would have to find another route to climb down because of small drop offs, very steep and I slid a lot. I did however shave off a mile of switchbacks but did not save any time since we had to be more careful climbing down.

it was windy and cold out early this morning it made for a nice hike, we only saw one other person. the hike was easy enough, my 8 year old did it. We did pick up trash on the way out and there is graffiti on the first part of the trail

Nov 21st. Challenging for an athletic/surfer from Puerto Rico. You pass thru many different types of terrain along the way and have to dig just a little deeper to reach the peak. Amazing view at "big turn" 9020ft and at peak. I came off the mountain on my head lamp. FYI, as it got dark passing thru the burnt out forest, the blackened stumps look like bears all around.

Nov. 21st. Great warmup to the canyon. I used it as warmup for Griffith Peak. Depending on the time of years, get an early start to make sure you get both in before dark. I'm from Puerto Rico and my pace was off. I finished Griffith on the head lamp.
Wild pack of chipmunks on the peak.

Did this trail with my wife and dog took about 3hrs to complete stopping often for pictures. This is a beautiful hike and fantastic way to get out of the city!

Great hike and not too difficult if you are in moderate shape. It can get steep and times but the view at the top is well worth it. Once you hit the stairs your almost there so push through!

Trail is well kept, a bit steep during some stretches. Great views along the way and from the top.

I found it difficult because I have bad knees but when you get on top of the mountain the view is totally worth it

This trail is so far the best I’ve been to in Las Vegas. It took us 8 hours total for the hike and we enjoyed it. It was very cold from halfway up, so we didn’t stay long after getting to the top.

Amazing view and nice hike.

The Aspen were spectacular today!

Great hike. Great views. Moderate workout. Some parts more intense than others but not for long stretches.

Very beautiful trail! Easy path to follow!

It is actually about 10 miles, if you start from the South Loop. Although, we only made it 2/3 of the way up, this trail is another steeep climb. Will definitely do it again and complete it the next time.

This is a great low traveled hike. Easy trail, lots of nature. End up at a pretty good spring. We didn't find the caves/mines, was to overgrown.

Lots of up hill on this short hike. trail is very easy to follow. Awesome views from the top.

nice gravel trail. no boulders to scramble... amazing view at the top

I started on Echo then turned to the right and ended up at Little Falls. I want to go back and finish Echo and get to the overlook.

Started with 95° at the parking lot, than at approximately two thirds of the trail started pouring, which turned into hail. We pretty much lost an hour waiting under a big tree to stay kind of dry while freezing at the 50°s. With all that time lost, still made it in 7 hours to the peak and back.
Beautiful views on higher elevation, especially from the peak!

Simple hike up a stream bed and back. It's fine, but no view at the top.
