Great trail that links up with other trails in the area. Park at the sports complex and start with the interpretive nature trail to the left, there are baby great horned owls. For Evans Canyon keep left in the beginning to ensure you’re on the right trail. I kept finding myself on the Miner’s trail. They’re all great and connect with each other tho so don’t be afraid to take a wrong turn!

Great views of Reno! String it together with Poedunk instead of Keystone Canyon for something a little more challenging.

Great trails - saw lots of wild life.

Very easy to follow, I even went off the trail a little and saw a couple snakes and frogs. There is a small creek that you follow almost the entire time.

Very good hike. I took my 2 and 4 year old and packed my 1 year old on my back and they had a blast.

Nice, easy hike. Rarely out of sight of the subdivisions, but a nice area for a casual walk.

Nice workout to the ‘N’ with a great view of the valley. Stopped at the Basque Memorial and found some people I’ve known on one of the plaques. Nice hike early in the morning.

Nice trail very nice view when you actually get to the N, great hiking trails for beginners, such a beautiful place especially in the early morning around 7am when all the birds are chirping. If you love to hear birds and feel a nice light breeze this is a good place to hike!

Had a blast! Trail was much dryer than a week ago. Fun watching a team of mountain bikers training.

Not quiet as pretty as the neighboring May Arboretum and Herman Pond Trail in regards to fauna. The pond has many types of ducks along with the standard Canadian Geese that have set up home in the park. I enjoyed that the trail went on the outside of the dog run. Nice to find the trail under McCarran, will probably use in the future.

Really fun trail! Was a soupy mess with the snow melting, but still had a blast. Trail was a bit difficult to find in the higher elevation of Peavine due to deep snow, but was able to follow along with the app. The only point that you could hear traffic, was along the southern part that ran parallel with McCarran. Good views of the Reno skyline. Nature trail part was interesting as well. Only passed a couple other hikers; lots of footprints suggest that the peak time is before 5 pm. Parking is difficult for the trail head. I ended up parking in the apartment complex lot. Was happy to see the car there when I returned!

Good ride, the whole park is fun and easily navigated. This is a great lap trail for after work with semi fast areas and moderate climbs.

Great ride, fun and a few surprises. Beautiful views as you climb.

A great hike on a 60 degree day in late January. Many trails branch off the main one shown here, so important you keep app available if you want to be 100% sure. Some of the trails are named differently on the trail than the app, but for the most part, you don’t lose service.

Best dog place ever. For the off_leash dog area wish they'd put up a few sitting/sheltered areas for the people.

A pretty lame trail - may have been nicer before the apartments were built at the end of it. Lots of dogs having a great time!

Very nice moderate hike that’s very easy to get to. Lots of hikers on the weekend but lots of room for everyone. Take the side trip the the University of Nevada ‘N’ for a great view of the Valley.

Love this Trail. Great elevation changes and beautiful scenery.

I like to use this area for training for upcoming race. With all the up and downhill, twists and turns it does the job and then some

Awesome... 1st choice for my dogs(and me)!

Breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. Very exposed to the sun, so bring lots of water and sunblock. We got to see some interesting critters along the trail.

Great trail right in our backyard. Take it up to the N.

fun an easy for a quick getaway hike!!!

Nice trail for days you don't feel like driving up to Tahoe!

beautiful trail. peaceful. I did it with baby on my back, relatively easy. crossing the water without getting wet, was the most challenging part.

This is my favorite trail to do on days where I don't have much time but just want to get outside for a while. After a lot of rain or snow melt, there's a pretty little creek that runs through the trail under the "N" and lots of greenery. It's a fun place to for little ones to explore and play around. I walk this trail probably once every couple weeks and I still love it.

Pretty cool trail. There is the little creek at the first part of the trail. The only problem that I found was the lack of shade.

nice loop trail. Beware, the trail by the creek has been washed out in a few spots. 2017, April

Other than that I enjoyed the walk and view of Reno
