NIce walk. Scenery is okay. A fair amount of off-leash dogs. Easy enough trail to follow.

One of my go to trails. Not fun when it's muddy though.

Steep in parts, great views of the city from the top

Fun for a short hike

Great trail that is close to town. Not many people on there until you get around to the keystone side so that was nice.

Very easy and enjoyable. The hill to the big N is steep but offers a great view.

Great hike ! Started from rancho and walked to the N with my 2.5 year old asleep in the carrier ! Was a great hike !

Beautiful hike. The fall leaves were amazing in late October.

Excellent trail for Reno visitors and work breaks.
This trail loops by a pond, arboretum, and near an abandoned children's theme park / converted to play area.
Truly a four-season trail with a different look and feel throughout the year.
This time, we hiked the shorter loop, coming back through Great Basin Adventure.
October was the right time to catch the fall colors. We especially liked the Oaks of North America grove.

Great views and scenery. Steep at points but well worth the effort.

Perfect sunset hike! We brought our kids and it was just a little rough at the very end! But well worth it. We brought our flashlights as we knew we wanted to watch the sunset and then hike down after it got a little bit dark. Beautiful view of Downtown Reno from the top!

Easy running trail

fun trail!nice little steep hills, one side has loose rocks but the other is clear and open, good for beginners!

Great loop trail. Go early - no shade. Bring water as it gets hot in places. A few places are a bit rocky for running so wear stable shoes. Well marked until you get to the upper part of the trail.

Very nice hike. Took my one year old on this and he did amazing! almost made it to the N with him walking the whole way. Saw los of birds and lizards and a few snakes so be on the look out as always. Was a little disappointed in all the dog poop on the trails. But thats not the trails fault, just irresponsible owners.

Great trail that links up with other trails in the area. Park at the sports complex and start with the interpretive nature trail to the left, there are baby great horned owls. For Evans Canyon keep left in the beginning to ensure you’re on the right trail. I kept finding myself on the Miner’s trail. They’re all great and connect with each other tho so don’t be afraid to take a wrong turn!

Great views of Reno! String it together with Poedunk instead of Keystone Canyon for something a little more challenging.

Great trails - saw lots of wild life.

Very easy to follow, I even went off the trail a little and saw a couple snakes and frogs. There is a small creek that you follow almost the entire time.

Very good hike. I took my 2 and 4 year old and packed my 1 year old on my back and they had a blast.

Nice, easy hike. Rarely out of sight of the subdivisions, but a nice area for a casual walk.

Nice workout to the ‘N’ with a great view of the valley. Stopped at the Basque Memorial and found some people I’ve known on one of the plaques. Nice hike early in the morning.

Blossoms in the Spring, Shade in the Summer, Colors in the Fall, Quiet in the Winter. One of the best places to go outside in the City of Reno limits, and a great place to take kids.

Nice trail very nice view when you actually get to the N, great hiking trails for beginners, such a beautiful place especially in the early morning around 7am when all the birds are chirping. If you love to hear birds and feel a nice light breeze this is a good place to hike!

Had a blast! Trail was much dryer than a week ago. Fun watching a team of mountain bikers training.

Not quiet as pretty as the neighboring May Arboretum and Herman Pond Trail in regards to fauna. The pond has many types of ducks along with the standard Canadian Geese that have set up home in the park. I enjoyed that the trail went on the outside of the dog run. Nice to find the trail under McCarran, will probably use in the future.

An old favorite from when the boys were little. Easy trail with lots to explore. Really enjoyed the songs of the Red-Winged Blackbirds in the marsh!

Good ride, the whole park is fun and easily navigated. This is a great lap trail for after work with semi fast areas and moderate climbs.
