Lovely walk along the water with beach access in a couple of places. Beautiful and meditative with benches strategically placed to take in the Lake Tahoe beauty. (We visited in late Fall, during the day on a week day). Looking forward to visiting again.

Beautiful lake access. Off season only $5 for locals.

Good trail.

Relatively level trail for this area. Fantastic views. Several crossing trails with unmarked intersections so follow the app's map.

It was an easy hike beautiful views of the lake and in another couple of weeks there wit be some great Fall colors. No complaints just letting you know there are no signs marking this trail and one of the junctions has multiple trails to decipher just be very alert this junction has downhill Mtn bikers clipping along at a pretty good speed here don't forget where you are standing it was just this one spot we crossed paths with downhill riders they don't ride the Incline Flume trail but the cross country Mtn bikers do they are much slower but all were very appreciative and respectful.

Nice flat hike. I’ll be back with my bike next time.
The red line ends at the first ski trail of Diamond Peak.

Easy, gorgeous views. I added on the tyrolean downhill and made it a 10 miler.

This was a super chill trail. I'd rate it an easy because it doesn't really climb noticeably. There were some nice views and a handful of streams to cross. A fairly narrow trail meant we were stepping aside regularly to let bicycles by. All in all it was a nice trail and I plan to return again.

Fantastic hike!!! Gorgeous views, streams and wildflowers. August is stunning....not nearly as "moderate" as I expected, I would categorize this "easy". We saw a lot of bike riders, everyone was friendly and lots of dogs and some families on this trail. Would do again!!!

You have to pay $12 to get into the state park which was a downer!

Fantastic views of wildflowers in all shapes and colors along the whole trail! (Mid July) Moderately warm day but stayed cool from the mountain breeze. My pup loved crossing through the many creeks to cool off as we hiked.

For a very short hike this is fine. Tough in the snow of for young hikers getting their feet wet.\
All up hill on the way up. Trail is beat down well and parking area is great! Not much to see once you get to the meadow. Fun in winter months!

Awesome trail with lots of varying topography, wildflowers, views of the lake, creeks and fall crossings. The wildflowers were a wonderful surprise. I hike Auburn/Colfax/Forest hill a lot and the flowers there dried from green and brilliant, to dry and brown back in May-June. The late snowmelt at higher altitude keeps the hills green much longer and the air much cooler. It was a great reprieve from the Sac Valley scorch. Lots of bikers though. It gets tiresome standing to the side all the time, but it is their trail too. Lead with love and let them get on by with a smile. It was also cool to see what the ski slopes looked like with no snow. The grasses and flowers where just incredible! Pics don't do it justice. It was a 7 mile round trip hike, but we turned around at the second ski lift. The trail goes all the way back down to the lake I believe.

Gorgeous place. Best beach I know of in Tahoe. Not really a hike though.

This trail is pretty casual. You can go for as long as you want and turn it into a loop with the Tahoe rim trail if you're a maniac. I recommend going beyond the end of the AllTrails 'red line' that marks the trail. That's where all the wild flowers are blooming and views of the lake become really clear. You'll like this trail for sure!

I did this last year from the Blue Lakes Road Trailhead. It is beautiful and looks like Yosemite. It is almost all down hill - with switchbacks. My over 65 knees welcomed the hot springs when finished but it was well worth it. May still have some damage from heavy winter in early July 17

Great trail, flat and easy walk

Great hike- waterfalls , wild flowers of every color, great views, shade and sun.
Pretty easy and I'm in good ( not great) shape.

Beautiful trail. can get busy

A short but very picturesque boardwalk around the main peninsula at Sand Harbor. There are a number of signs that provide a lot of information about many aspects of the lake. Be sure to explore the park further, including the beautiful sand beach (there is a second smaller beach by the boat landing) and the wonderful rocky shoreline. I loved climbing some of the boulders on the edge of the lake to get some unique views. I picked a good time to visit, as I imagine this is a very popular place in the warmer months.

Some great views of the lake once you get towards the middle of the hike.
