The overlooks at Lone Pine State Park present a dramatic view of the Flathead Valley. On a clear day, you can see Flathead Lake, Big Mountain, the Jewel Basin and Glacier National Park. A walk through the visitor center will provide information on living with wildlife in the wildland-urban interface, along with a look at wildlife and forest ecology within the park. At the park's gift store you can find a variety of informative books on area wildlife, wildflowers and more. With over five miles of trails at the park, you will be sure to find a great hike to revitalize your soul, a peaceful spot to relax, or a fresh sign of area wildlife. Bring a lunch and take advantage of the park's picnic area under a canopy of ponderosa pine and Douglas fir trees. The visitor center contains a spacious meeting room with audio visual equipment and wrap around decks with beautiful vistas. It's an ideal spot for a meeting or social gathering.

great local trail for training.

Just on the outskirts of town, multiple trails.

Great hike close to town

Great place! They have a small family hike and a harder 8mile hike that is pretty hard because it is straight up hill. Great biking trails! When you reach the lookout of the long hike it is beautiful!!
