Amazing hike, beautiful view would be really simple with no snow. Still so much snow be prepared to step and fall in and have no trail to follow.

Great hike. Falls were amazing! Trail was good, a few muddy spots and water running over trail.

Easy to follow, mostly level, and dead gorgeous. Great way to ease in to the summer hiking season.

First hike of the season. I did the full loop and had a great time. The trail was a bit sloppy in places from the snowmelt but was otherwise easy to follow. Free parking if you go between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Including a break for lunch, it took me just over 3 hours.

amazing waterfall, lots of water coming down the trail right now but you can get around it. easy hike as far as I was concerned

This is a beautiful hike. There’s a variety of terrain and I would rate it as moderate. Lots of shady area right along the creek. It climbs at a constant pace so definitely a nice moderate workout. This is one of my favorites.

Trail is in great shape, still was quite a bit of snow. But well worth it!

Deadfall. Depressing views.

Totally love this hike. By far my favorite..

Did this trail on horse back in summer 2016. Perfect!!

I only went halfway but loved it.

Lovely and do-able even this late in November.

Roads solid ice, narrow, with cliffs had to bale on it today. Will return in the spring.

Absolutely breathtaking. Simple hike.

This USFS trail does not get a lot of use but is not hard to follow, particularly in early spring or late fall when there is less undergrowth. Great place for isolation, as I've been on it twice and still haven't run into another hiker. Beautiful scenery at some of the clearings as well as nearly panoramic views at the saddle. Good workout too (in my opinion), as the elevation gain is pretty consistent the entire way. The last 1,500 feet was above the snow line when I went, so the last segment was hard (should have brought yaktrax or similar). If you go in summer or when there is less snow, there is a trail downhill and east from the saddle that continues to Burnt Fork Lake, which is apparently beautiful and well-worth it.

Spectacular view :)

Love this trail, it is a hard hike however we have hiked it 2 times with our 3 children. The baby was in a pack on my back and I was tired but I was able to do it without complications. The older two hiked it with a few breaks, but we made it a mile or two up.

My friends and I enjoyed this hike very much. It offers a nice incline on the way up to the waterfall, and then the decline back down isn't too bad. Didn't see too many people for a Saturday. The waterfall is such a reward. You can hike up to the top of it. If you want after you hike to the top you can cross the water hike down a bit, and see the waterfall fully; but, there is no well marked trail to do this.

37 degrees, snow on the trail the last half mile or so.. great hike!!

Easy and flat. Great for getting in your first hike of the summer to test the old body out.

Easy. we're fat out of shape smokers.

My favorite hike! It is closed right now due to fires.

Beautiful!!! Trail gets fairly rocky but worth the effort! Be sure and go all the way to the top!

Absolutely amazing view. Good for kids and those in shape up to 65. The entire way is switchbacks making the climb easy to scale. Overall , very easy and extremely rewarding hike.

We had an excellent time on this trail. It certainly isn't conducive to running the entire time, but it was a beautiful and interesting trail the entire way around.

A great trail, been there twice with kids, they loved it, falls are impressive!

A little longer than we expected with a 6 year old and it was hot, but the views were GORGEOUS!!! Windy as heck, could be dangerous with small, curious kids
