Nice fun trail full of flow but badly marked to find your way around or out.

very enjoyable hiking trail for me and my dog near my home will do more early morning hikes there.

Terrible to navigate. Hiking trail not clearing marked..

Trail is very confusing to navigate as other users have stated. It is nice going through such a heavily wooded area though.

Absolutely love this park and trail! I have been coming here since I was a child and have watched the trails grow. The mountain bike trails are all dirt with some rock, there’s lots of crossing paths and it’s easy to lose which path you’re on. You can go off the trail and find a beautiful creek at the back end. But be prepared with cell phone charged for navigation plenty of opportunities to get mixed up in where you’re heading! Can be muddy at times. Tree covered and away from all city activity set back off some back roads! Nice and quiet!

There are many trails running together through this park that it is hard to tell which trail your on. The trail was easy to distinguish, but not marked. The only trail marked is a bike trail that is blazed in yellow. The trail was pretty muddy. Not much rock and tree root. Mostly smooth surface. Looks like a nice area, but you better bring a GPS or you will be walking in circles.

Great Place & the kids love it so that's a plus:)

VERY poorly marked. The trails criss cross each other and people have made other trails. Even with a map I back tracked quite a few times before I could find my way back out. Otherwise, it was nicely shaded with a lot of up and down elevations for a good cardio workout.

A nice trail. Lots of cobwebs in the morning. Wasn't too hard for a couple of beginners. Very shady, green and lush forest to view.

Cool trail, extremely hard to keep track of where you are. Even having a map I was getting lost a few times. Watch out for the cobwebs, better to go after a couple bicyclists paved the way.

Trailhead for the bike/hike trail is next to the horseshoe game arena. The trailways are defined and easy to see but they are marked poorly as far as which way is what when you intersect with another path. I had a decent signal that I was able to check the map in this app to make sure I was still on the right path. There are several places the paths cross-cross. Just stay on it straight ahead and you shouldn't backtrack on yourself. The paved path behind the kids playground is 1/2 mile long. I wound up with 2.5 miles on the bike trail with a little bit of backtracking. It was a good walk with lots of elevation changes so a good cardio workout. Better signage at each path intersection would have netted it 5 stars. There's a nice dog park right there so I let the pup off the leash when we got back to the car.

Best outdoor feel park around Kansas City. Pretty well maintained and plenty of miles of trails. Could be a little better marked but it is still easy to get around. The mountain biking and frisbee golf courses are icing on the cake. Overall, awesome outdoor park with activities for everyone. It can get packed with the dog park on the weekends. But the trails are never busy.

Nice quiet trail through the woods, not particularly well marked, but it was a nice hour of wandering around in the woods

Nice single track trail running loop with a variety of switchbacks and rock gardens.

This place is awesome, i have grown out of this style of riding, however my 9 yr old likes dirt better than road/paved trails which is my primary style. Stockdales park has some uniqe obstacles and we really enjoyed the mini bmx track at the beginning.
Great Place.

Still quite a novice. But this is my favorite northland trail. Fast and flowing. Not too technical.

You can take a short hike or an extended one. There are alot of options here. I enjoy walking thi trail! If you go to the right to start, about half way through you will start finding spots that you can walk out at if necessary by following frisbie golf signs ;)!

The trails were awesome. However, they are NOT like what is shown on this app! Mixed use area for mountain bike, hike and disc golf. WAY over 2.8 miles...more like 10-15 miles if you follow the markers. There are some way points marked. My advise, take a picture of the map posted at the trail head so you have a reference that you can use to keep from ending up much further away than you want. If the maps here were good, and trails were marked better, I'd give 5 stars due to the quality of the trail itself.

Look for the dirt path off the paved trail when you enter. It was not marked but leads to several more great paths.

This is a very nice trail that takes you into the woods. I wouldn't walk or ride the trail if it has rained in the past few days due to the path getting muddy. The hardest part about this trail is it being poorly marked! A lot of guessing on wither you are on the correct trail or not!

I'm a 68 year old fat guy, trying to get back into shape. My son gave me a FitBit for my birthday. I wanted to try the bike/hiking trail, to give my tracker a work out.. I started with trail #1A, which ran into #2A, which led me to #4, into #5, and finally #6. I do not think the trails were marked very well. The forks in the road, were not clearly marked. I took my best guess on taking my chosen paths. The trees and bushes were thick, the flowers purple, and the litter, almost zero. I was passed by two jogging women and met a family group, with dog near the end of my hike. That was it for traffic. No bikers met. By FitBit standards I hiked the equivalent of 50 flights of stairs and did about 4 miles. I had a walking stick and used it a lot going uphill. Lots of bird calls, no animals spotted. Trail was dry, with no puddles. Very pleasant first time experience. 4 out of 5 stars, for lack of trail markers.

Poorly marked trail, but pretty fun regardless. A lot longer than 2.9 miles.

Quite an oasis within a large town like Liberty. I enjoyed the trail but admit I was comparing it to another hike I had done earlier in the day at a Missouri State Park, and this trail didn't have the same resources as the larger state park. I was surprised how heavily wooded it was, and although it was a bike trail, I saw no mountain bikers on a beautiful fall day. I took the blue trail, marked as "more difficult" (for the bikers, I believe). The trail is very winding with lots of switchbacks, which became tedious after a while. It was reasonably well-marked for hiking, with additional markings that named sections of the biking trail. My dog stayed fairly close to me on the trail, I think because the woods had fairly dense low vegetation.
