It was a nice hike but we were lunch for lots of mosquitoes. We went on 9/30/18. I will go back again but next time will make sure to put on Mosquito repellent.

Great ride but can be busy ! Everybody understands the different levels of goals and you can’t beat the view .. 5 stars

Super easy to run/walk, especially when short on time!

Always a good walk. It’s really nice in the evening and the sunset over the lake is really pretty.

Definitely would recommend, trail can get confusing. Easy to walk and even good if you wanted to run it!

great beginner trail

The trail itself is great: not completley flat, has hills and incline, near the river, pretty scenery. I went in July so the humidity and smell was worse since it was so close to a body of water, and the place was crawling with daddy long legs. They were everywhere. Creepy.

Big trees and nice views.

Great for a flat run. I live close by so I got this trail often. More than half the trail is paved and the rest is tightly packed, small gravel so nothing difficult about this one. it's usually busy but is wide enough to pass walkers with ease.

I absolutely love this trail to bicycle on. It can get crowded but everyone uses trail etiquette. the lake is beautiful to see at sunset.

Very heavily congested trail. The scenery is lovely and it's a peaceful hike around the lake, but you will constantly be dodging joggers, bikers, strollers, children, and pretty much everyone. I suggest going early morning or late evening, good times for quiet and to watch the sunrise/sunset.

Easy trail but definitely congested. I have caught some great sunsets here along pics of some wildlife; pls be respectful

Great view and easy to trails

Great place to just take a walk or run. There are a lot of other people on the trail at the same time, but surprisingly it is still a very peaceful and quiet.

Absolutely loved! Easy trail and very low traffic. I saw one person during my entire walk. View of the river is stunning! Will definitely come back.

A little muddy but a nice hike.

This is a cool, windy little trail to utilize if you want to escape the overpopulation of the Creve Coeur Lake Loop. Here you're in and out of woods, constantly skirting the edge of civilization and nature. Lots of switchbacks but little elevation gain makes for a twisting, turning walk that stays interesting. The path is a great option to utilize without a long drive out of the suburbs.

Nice path here, one thing I really like about this park is how nature and manmade structures work together. The overpass of Page Avenue is actually pretty stunning and doesn't detract from the natural beauty of Creve Coeur Lake. There are offshoots of this path where you can get away from the constant hustle & bustle. Trail courtesy doesn't really exist here as you get too many new people on the trail that don't understand walk-right / pass-left. It's not my favorite spot due to the insane amount of traffic, but if I'm looking to get outdoors and want to stay close to home it's a viable option. Bootlegger's Run nearby is a much better choice in my opinion.

Good trail, great for hiking and biking. A little confusing at times, needed more markers along the route.

Great little trail very close to the city. It's very windy to get the distance in because it's in a small park, but it's a lot of fun. There is the opportunity to go down by the lake via stairs, as well.

Well maintained trail built by the local mtb club (GORC). Watch for bikes and step to the side to let them pass if you can. My garmin measured the whole loop around 5.4 miles.

We always see deer when we hike this trail and today, an entire herd of them ran past us. The trail is pleasant and I enjoy it every time. It was very muddy today, which kept the bikers away.

Signage and marking was not great. The ice flow and low water levels was worth it!

Saw several tufted titmice & a house wren. Heard Blue Jays & Woodpeckers in the distance. Beautiful changing hike, some of it along the river.

Well maintained trail. Easy hike. Not much elevation change. Some nice views of the lake. Deer and turkey. And lots of wild mushrooms.
