Wall Doxey State Park offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities in a setting rich in natural beauty. Centered around a 60-acre, spring-fed lake, Wall Doxey is only 40 miles from the exciting shopping, restaurants, and attractions of Memphis, Tennessee, and is just seven miles from the splendid antebellum homes of Holly Springs, Mississippi. The University of Mississippi ("Ole Miss") is just a 25-minute drive away, making Wall Doxey State Park the perfect place to spend a football weekend. For a weekend getaway or as a central vacation spot, Wall Doxey State Park is an ideal destination.

Circumnavigates spring-fed Spring Lake. A few hilly areas, but mostly flat terrain. Everything in this park seems to need some maintenance, including the trail constructions (bridges, benches, steps, etc.). Lake provides excellent bird viewing.

Wall Doxie
Holly Springs, MS

Campgrounds 1-49 are wooded and private. And are located in the lower grounds.

Campgrounds 50-67 are in the upper point near the entrance . Not private and not wooded . But the restrooms / showers are a little better.

I would only recommend the campgrounds if you have full facility's in your camper

This was a really fun hike. We took a large group of around 30 people of all ages and it was a blast. Some of the trails were non obvious but for the most part it was in pretty good condition. Great little state park as well. Worth a trip. Also has fishing and camping here.

Started out flat but near the lake, the the fun begins. I experienced a dirt, mud, Moss mix with a lot of steep grade Hills and short hops. I would not put this under easy, but it was more beautiful than anything.

Hiked this on a cold, very nice January day. Walked around the lake and saw at least ten different waterfowl. Was a good hike.

I have walked this trails at least 20 times since my family reunion is at Wall Doxey SP every year. Nice relaxing trail to pass the time on.

It's a nice short easy hike and one of the only kept trails in the area. Might want to bring some bug spray and a nice stick to clear out the occasional spider web
